I have to report some bugs that came with 0.23 and doesn't seem to get a hotfix yet. And YES, i have tried running the game in safe mode. Bug1: Sometimes when i load up a map with my car, my car gets lighten up in all sort of colors in reflection. This only appears when i drive the vehicle. So when i go into walking mode, it gets disabled. It doesn't appear on AI vehicles. This issue applies then to nearly all kind of cars that i spawn. Sometimes this effect only appears at the tires or more likely on the bottom of my car. I have to leave the map and spawn again to get rid of it. I have the feeling that when this appears, the loading of the map happends faster. So maybe a loading problem. Bug 2: Is related to the new AI traffic system. I also noticed these issues in someone gameplay video on YT of the new update. He didn't had any mods running. So the AI doesn't turn the turn signals / indicator when they should. And they don't activate the hazard lights anymore when you crashed in someones car. Sometimes i saw that they turned the hazard lights on, but they got freezed like some american parking lights. Bug 3: Relates to walking mode. I can't drag any nodes anymore. For some reason the node grabber is a different UI now and i am only able now to increase/decrease the "holdLimit" with the regular mouse wheel. But it doesn't do anything. So i can't tow a vehicle anymore (as i use the nodes to tow a vehicle onto the tow truck because there is no rope system) Bug 4: This relates also to the walking mode, and that is that i sometimes copy myself (the gray collision guy that represent my player). My player collision appears then like random physical object that i can push around. It happends randomly when i spawn new vehicles or leave/enter one. I am not sure when exactly. Bug 5: This one is not related to this update itself i would say. I am using a wireless bluetooth headphones on my pc. This one sometimes needs to get charged or i have some synchronisation problems. So i turn them off while running games and turn it on again. Obviously Windows switch to my monitor speakers when i turn them off. This process of switching between the audio output makes a little lag in every game for a second. But sadly, with BeamNG Drive. The game freezes completely when i plug them in again. So when Windows switch back to the headphones. It only freezes when i am spawned in the game, even when i paused the engine. When i am in the main menu, i have no issue there. Just only the main game. It would be nice if any of them can be solved. Thanks for the amazing game.
Wigeon door latches don't have breakgroups, which makes the doors open backwards when you click "break all hinges".
Will diesel guages be added to the ETK K Series cause its been 5 years since it came out and hasnt been fixed. --- Post updated --- One of the roads on gridmap v2 are slightly below the surface and theres a small gap between them showing the sky
Im not sure if its just 0.23 but when I change a material file it will not take place until I reload the map. And yes there are no other mods on.
I've found that a few of the tires have been reversed, eg: the burnside's 15x6 165/100R15 tires have the whitewalls facing inwards so they arent visible, I encountered the same issue onj some of the miramar's tires.
Road at lone house near Lucera have big bump. It's located exactly at delivery point. Also as you can see in Garage Delivery it is possible to get powerglow variants (which is cool).
if i select a map to play on beamng drive it takes me out of the map selector and brings me back to the menu someone can help me?
Restart the game.. happened to me a few times, I presume the reason is that the UI Lags like crazy for some odd reason. Never did that before this update..
It was happening with no mods enabled. Maybe the Wendover doesn't have that issue or it's hit and miss
Idk if its the same, but it looks like I got that Bug number 1. It looks like some sort of Reflection and Post FX bug. The yellow square must be the shiny effect. CMIIW
Set dynamic-reflection-resolution higher than 256 and see if it fixes it. Worked for me and others Let me know if it works
Just change reflections resolution. For me I just need change it, sometimes few times, and this should fix it for a while. When you get again broken reflections change resolution again until it will fix itself again.
Hey, I'm liking how responsive the devs have been with bug fixes and such, and I was wondering if the odometer is going to see a fix? Last I knew they were mentioning it in the 0.23 Release notes a few weeks back. Other than that, I'm struggling to find any bugs!
LeGran wagon rear windshield inner reflectivity Grand Marshal non-chrome trim and plastic grille Moonhawk sport skin chrome bumpers, strips and door handles New Pessima door handle shading Wendover chrome grille and bumpers too dark None of these are fixed so far, although the Barstow's tires are no longer missing textures. Most of these are minor material bugs and I would be happy to provide more photo/video evidence if needed to help identify and fix them
The issue is still unresolved in 0.23.2. BeamNG team, please kindly prioritize this. The issue ruins the game for anyone with low-end or non-gaming hardware.
