When using the Vehicle Customization Menu, the Menu will close on it's own after changing a single thing. This never used to be the case and it makes quick customization slow and tedious.
I like to leave "Apply changes automatically" on because I can see my progress and if there are any errors, it's easy to change. However before the update, with this option on, the UI would never close itself.
So that cannot be the issue, unless intentional by the devs.

I get this issue on top of the fact that the UI now sometimes takes upwards of half a minute to start updating again after I apply something in the parts menu. This may be a mod issue, but hey.. Not once did I have this bug before 0.23.

back in the older beam days you used to be able to pause the game and then modify your car then un pause it for it to update it. it made modifying your car much faster. that was removed with 0.22 and now in 0.23 it also closes every time

"Back in the old days" equipping 1 part would take like 10 second to load, don't act like the updates made things worse, the menu closing is just a tiny inconvinience compared to that

No like legit you could pause the game and change whatever you want in the part selector and tuning and them un pause it to apply the changes. Made it much quicker to customize your car. It was like that forever until 0.22 and I never understood why it was made so you could no longer do it till literally like 10 minutes ago. I learned there’s a little box at the bottom of the part selector that says “automatically apply changes” and you un tick the box and it works just like pausing the game used to. You choose the parts you want and then click apply to add the changes. They removed being able to pause it and replaced it with a better way of doing it. I just didn’t know about it till now

So yea people having issue with the menu vanishing there’s a check box at the bottom of the part selector menu that says “automatically apply changes” un check the box and it fixes it.
