Manual shifter behaving as a paddle type shifter?

My issue right now is that for some reason my manual shifter is behaving as a simple up and down button, meaning i cant go from gear 1 to gear 3, because that only registers as a single gear jump. Same with downshifting, going from gear 5 to gear 2 on the shifter only results in going from gear 5 ingame to gear 4 ingame. I have to repeatedly go into 2nd gear from there until it goes in 2nd gear, going down one gear each time. This just started happening, any idea why?

Im running a Logitech G923 wheel with its appropriate pedals and 6 gear shifter.

 

Have you looked at how the controls are assigned?

 

Sounds like you're in a car with a sequential gearbox. You need a full manual gearbox installed in the car to be able to skip gears.
That said, with a sequential and h-shifter. It'll kind of act like a normal manual going through gears one by one, even shifting without clutch, but cannot skip gears.

Personally, I wish we could bind gears 3-4 for sequential down/up with normal manual 3-4 gear binds, have beamng recognize what gearbox type we're driving and just control bind conflicts accordingly.
