Maybe this is a fun topic that's great like "BeamNG is Cursed". If there is already a thread let me know. Here is something that got my i7700k and 2080s to slow down a bit. Sure its nothing compared to what you have.
Um... I once spawned into a dense forest... no matter how little detail, the GT-710... puts in a valiant effort...
I used like 10 crashhard classics and crashhard bigrigs at the same time. I swere to god my pc sounded like a red arrow
Sorry, here is the correct video. (1) A lot of Wood ! - BeamNG - YouTube --- Post updated --- I bet that CPU GPU fan was 100% throttle
i tried playing this game on a microsoft surface ...so anything over 2 cars on the lowest possible settings at 1280x1080
pathetic, I played it on a 7 year old laptop with a 3rd gen i7 mobile and integrated graphics. The only map I could go on: Grid small pure with 5 cars @30fps(lowest settings) the hard drive broke.
Idk man, I once had like 30 wendovers spawned (no dynamic reflections) and it still ran at around 45 fps
Multiple Crash Hard 8 x 8's on the Crash Hard map itself. My computer fan whirred like a DC-3 spooling up on the runway for takeoff.
I remembered playing beam in a laptop from 2000-ish (I couldn't remember what are the specs because its currently broken), and when I tried to spawn more than 2 cars, my laptop just gave me a bsod
I bet that CPU GPU fan was 100% That's almost as bad as the duel core Celeron laptop I played the demo on several years ago. Had to play in 320 x 200, remember lap burning some. Think that is the one that I stepped on and cracked the screen, "What happened to the screen" "Oh, they just crack when they get old"
I remember when I went to the Los Injurus map, found the police department building, and decided to spawn all the cars from the Firwood Police Skins Pack for a screenshot... That was at least 1 config per almost every vanilla vehicle + a few mods too... At one point I had to remove the engines from all of them because it got too laggy, for the final screenshot I literally had 1 FPS lol
Lol. I had my laptop on a blanket, running beamng at 720 medium wondering why it performed like crap. I didn't know about computers at that time:/ --- Post updated --- very rough on hard drives
Just by playing the game, my previous laptop had then decided "yes, I am now going to commit suicide."
That Space Track is still going to make it here., Good thing I took a break to work on something else. Figured a lot out that will help there. Think you where someone who asked me about it. Or it was one of my other crazy ideas. At least it ran it, once maybe. I read the other comment too with the blanket ! all the fools that live here where bad about putting them on a pillow. And plugging TV's into outlets without any surge protectors. The day lightening knocked out the cable modem, router, and 3 tv's they all wised up.
