This car is really weird and it would be so cool to have it in game, the whole front panel is the door, it has a 1 cylinder engine, and 4 forward + 4 reverse gears lol And spare tire being in front of the passenger
Ok so on topic: The engine looks a little bit better with smooth shading enabled, but still needs better textures which I can't fix myself
Polish microcar prototype Smyk. Quite an interesting car, although I’d prefer something along the lines of the Czechoslovak Avia 350. Also look at those cars in the background; 1950 Opel Olympia and Tatras 87 and 600 Tatraplan! However let’s go back on topic.
I'd probably prefer GAZ-23. Beefy V8 but I don't think they ever did anything to the brakes so I'd have to be a bit careful
idk if this has already been mentioned but my only problem with this mod is the suspension seems clunky it doesnt seems as smooth over bumps as other official cars and mods. im no modder so idk if that can or will be remedied but thats the only issue i have with this thing.
LucasBE is redoing the entire suspension basically so this will be fixed, no idea when though as he hasn't even started --- Post updated --- Sorry for off topic, but I can't tell if this is a real photo taken with weird lighting, or an in-game screenshot of a private mod on the Nevada Interstate map lol
HAHA I wish lol. It'd be so damn cool to see a non meshslap version of this car but yeah it's a real pic. It's odd though, it's a rare car and that certainly doesn't look like Russia to me, perhaps it really is in nevada?
Volha isn’t actually that rare, they made over 600 000 of them, the 23 is but I don’t think this one is a 23 those had a distinctively lower suspension (it wasn’t modified compared to the standard GAZ 21 Volha, only reason why it was lower was the heavy V8 engine up front and a ballast weight in the back to make the handling at least bearable) Drivers preferred the 21 because the 23 was horrible, it was fast but only place where it could be driven fast was the highway. In the corners the 21 handled much better (and even the 21 wasn’t very good, thanks to the tall suspension.) I believe there are several GAZ 21s in the US. GAZ 21 for Show:
