not a suggestion but Man your trucks are amazing! i hooked up 10 loaded tankers to your truck and it just hauled it like it wasnt there! Keep up the good work man!
Hey i dont have a us front plate idk if thats a problem on my end or if it isnt in the mod and if it isnt can you add a us selection
Mod is amazing so many wheels on a off-road military looking Big-Rig is just badass. Had the mod for some time now but ain't used it much till recent. One issue though(outside of the fact that it being separate from the T-series means I can't used the plethora of mods I have for that): For whatever reason even with drive shafts in place the B65/65S Frames are only FWD. I can fix the issue on the B65S by locking the center diff, but with the B65 I find no way to get power to the rear end. They are minor in the grand scale of the mod. Still I'd like to be able to make a 4x4 Big-Rig of this mod and tow trailers, but the B65 is the one that can do that between the 65's Still really like the mod, Favorite is a 10 wheeled dump-truck rig(no drive-train issues with any but the 65's)that utilizing another mod I have, I got weighing in @ 45 tons or 90,000lbs, 9585lb/ft, with 3554HP, and 14-speed sequential(Yeah I edited engine/tranny JBeams a bit for my own use) it's great getting one through stop and go traffic lol.
Locking a center diff in a truck like this is like something obvious, it could be locked by default if possible, without it it will really act like FWD only, on the B65 frame you probably have to lock even all of the diffs to get proper traction everywhere because it's a long frame. Even on the in-game T-Series with a lockable inter-axle transfercase you will get a ton of wheelspin if you don't lock it. So it's not really an issue of the mod.
Yeah I did try locking all diffs on the B65, now that did work I'm pretty sure. Unfortunatly then in the same game(no exiting and relaunching BeamNG), I loaded up another variant of the B-series, then went back at a point to the B65 and just could not get it to power the rears again no matter what. I'll prolly mess with it more later on at some point, , , perhaps post back if I figure something out.
The powertrain system shouldn't work like this at all, either the mod is seriously messed up (which I have never noticed) or it's your game.
@Divepunk i noticed that a long time ago i belive iyb said he knew about it but i took a few screenshots of what is wrong. the b65 is missing the Locking Inter Axle transfer case and where the b65s isnt so that is why one has rear power and the other doesnt. you mentioned that it had rear power then you restarted your game then it didnt i have not had that happen to me as its always never worked for me.
Here's some suggestions I've thought up while extensively driving the B-series for days now. An off-road fuel tank above the frame rails behind the cab/sleeper, or between the frame-rails. As it is I've disabled one of the engines need for a fuel tank, for the sake of unhindered ground-clearance. Unfortunately at the cost fuel simulation/weight, which I want, but I also want ultimate off-road big rig beast. There could also be some intermediate length trucks between the shorter 3, 4, and 5 axle variants and the longer ones. With the T75, there is a long variant, and then a REALLY long variant, yet no short version(that could still take a 5th wheel uplift. Prolly damage the sleeper in a turn but Day Cab would be completely out of the way), and still have about the best ground clearance,- and off-road performance you could want in a 6x6 semi-tractor. Oh and possibly true dual exhaust with the clearance that the "Twin Steer Right Pipe" offers and all the exhaust variants that the Y-Pipe offers. Also IDK off-road lights on the roof, maybe a Bull-bar with lights, perhaps and internal roll-cage, A bench seat, more radiators, a 4 door cab with rear seats, a "Patriot" paint design without the eagle? Maybe some of these are already W.I.P. for all I know, just ideas I've had. I've been waiting years for a proper off-road semi-tractor in BeamNG, so I have some ideas/suggestions. I could list more but they may be more trivial and I'd rather not inundate, or make this post much longer. Really enjoying the mod, next update I'll leave a review!
Thx for the suggestions I'll take note of that! I'm a bit busy rn but when I'll have the time I'll update this mod
Yep, I always have it up. It simply shows nothing connecting to the rear wheels, no linkages regardless of what diffs are locked/unlocked it looks FWD. Basically like a Covet(only a big ass semi-tractor), ok not quite cause there is a differential in the rear. Soo more like a 4WD D-series with no rear driveshaft. In fact speaking of rear driveshaft, I don't think there is a rear drive shaft selectable for the B65 at all, and that is the root problem. So, yep.
