That's the downside of using the Sbeam system I think. If the new system was easier to use, a lot of mods would use it and sound better. And also the sound samples for this mod aren't the best.
Only a completely debadged version could. Which is possible considering that the old version did get accepted. But probably it would get bad ratings because it still crashes badly so I wouldn't upload it before the Jbeam is redone. This is all up to the mod creators though.
Like Agent_Y said old version didn't have any badges so it was on repo, now it have to many names "FIAT"
It actually kinda makes sense. Piccolina is exactly the same word as Maluch when you translate both to English. The Piccolina ended production around the time when the Maluch started. We can assume the Piccolina is like the Fiat 500 and the Maluch was a direct successor of the Fiat 500 in Italy. Autobello doesn't seem to have a numeric naming scheme so calling it Autobello 126 wouldn't fit, so unless someone can come up with a better Italian name it could make sense for it to be the second generation of the Piccolina. What doesn't make sense is that the Piccolina is bigger and has more powerful engines and they wouldn't just nerf all of this in the direct next gen of the same car, so it would make more sense for it to be a separate model with a different name.
So here is where I am at with the mod. Remember, I only want to help and give feedback. The physics: they aren’t too realistic The textures and modelling: could do with some work Modular components: engine tuning, selecting different parts etc. What we have now is 1 stock engine, 1 fast and 1 super fast. Would be nice to have some contrast. More configs: would add to the mod a lot Sounds: indicators need sounds and I advise the startup sound from the Piccolina as it just seems more realistic to me. I actually like the ‘put put’ custom sounds right now. Thanks
Hi, thanks for now Agent_Y doing things in mod, you can see progress there https://www.beamng.com/threads/maluch-jbeam-rebuild.79313/ Maybe in future you will help
I was thinking; Maybe it's easier to start off by tuning the suspension? I find it's very jiggly when accelerating, and stopping. I've tried tuning the suspension using the menu in Ctrl + W but well.... No luck. Damping is a bit confusing but I'll keep fiddling with it until I can manage something
Yeah, the suspension is a bit worrying, especially when one drives quickly through the city… but after the new jbeam is finished, I expect that it will be much better.
Starting with the suspension is not a good idea simply because you are only changing the shock and spring values while the real problems are with the solid parts as far as I can tell. These need to be reworked first before the rest can be adjusted properly. But anyway if you somehow manage to get a decent setup then post it. --- Post updated --- I'll try but I have zero experience with suspension so I'll definitely need help.
the textures on the dashboard dont want to load --- Post updated --- ok nvm, i just had to delete the old version but --- Post updated --- now this happend: --- Post updated --- it spawned without the trunk --- Post updated --- ok i fixed everything lol
