Hi All, I think the majority of you know me for the Mega Pack. The majority of you have also seen that in the last 3 years I've been basically offline from the forums. I wanted to open this thread for some time and today I've decided to do so, I started modding this game just for fun, it was something that relaxed me. as time passed my mod became one of the biggest on the forum and I've never received so much love from so many people, that love, that exact love pursued me to do even better, I've seen people come and ask me if they could work with me in creating some config and they did so, just for fun. Or so I thought back then, this for me was an escape, an escape from several years of anxiety, depression, and bad thoughts. The day I stopped updating the mod meant something important to me, I did not need that escape anymore, my mind was free, I felt alive again and I was secure enough to do whatever I was scared to do. BeamNG healed me in some way, it helped me, it's about the people that are in this forums, special people that became friends for fun, maybe many others to escape fears and feel secure. Some months ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer, only the strength that this forum gave to me helped me to pass this brutal time with a good attitude. Many people, such as our beloved Narwhal, have difficulties in life and don't have the luck to overcome them easily. Remember always that behind the avatar there are real people, treat people on the forums as you would in real life. Now life has changed, I was in high school when this adventure started, in six months I'm due to become an automotive engineer and this community was with me all this time. I saw that the relaxation that modding brought to me is drifting aside day by day, as of now I think I will no more put any effort into my mods, I just want to enjoy the game without thinking about the product I want to deliver to you all, you deserve only the finest of work and this, for me, moves things from the funny to the working side. It's not a definitive farewell, more of a goodbye. But if I'll ever update any of my mods no one of you will know it before, it will be released and that's it, probably when the final version of this beautiful game will be released. As a last note, I want to say to everything that reads this message that the BeamNG community is one of the nicest things I've ever met. I want to personally thank @wrinkle345 , @maty , @daniel398767 , @Sh3lbYe , @CreasingCurve , @Bernd , @Ai'Torror and @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL for helping me create the content I always wanted to create. @AR162B , @NinetyNine! and @SergentFido for inspiration and the good moments passed discussing about our mods.
