Quick bug report: The Sport Active Limited Slip Differentials are very broken - I think they are the only part that stops the physics for instability reasons.
They work fine for me, idk what the problem is for you, maybe a conflicting mod. They shouldn't do anything to the physics, they don't have any physical parts. Also keep in mind that active parts like this only work with ESC.
Next update will be mostly sound focused but I'm too busy to work on it for now, I'll start when I have time. You will be able to swap sound samples for many parts hopefully.
If you will still get this issue then specify which car you used, maybe it's a rare bug on a specific car, but it worked for me on many different cars
Many people wanted it so there's engine swap + values override in form of customizable engine parts, I had to buff the OP performance long block so it can survive this. I just started this update today so it will take some time to come out. Also fixed thrusters not working on some cars and other bugs too.
Something I've discovered is the transmission sounds don't work when "Engine Swap" is selected, even when swapped and tuning changed.
it would be great if increasing the deformation didn't affect the suspenion, axles etc. when i want to make the car easy to deform the wheels usually break in turns and it's very annoying for example the covet is unrealistically safe so i made a config where it deforms more, but the wheels break very easily which makes it kinda hard to drive so if you could divide the suspension deformation from body deformation i would be really happy
If it was possible I would have done it a long time ago as I also find it annoying, a solution I use (which is not perfect) is using rally or heavy duty springs/coilovers and sway bars and adjusting the values to huge extent to counter the effects of my mod. Maybe I could try adding special parts for vanilla cars that are not affected by the mod but not sure if that will work, it would be cool if it worked. Also I don't think the Covet is "unrealistically safe", maybe its cheap appearance gives a wrong first impression, or maybe it's that in real life it wouldn't have corrosion resistant steel and after some years it would be weaker than initially.
could you make it so if ur car has 5 lug wheels so when u do th hub swap u can choose 5 lug incase u want to change the brakes
Ok I found what the issue is, it only occurs if you swap a transmission as well. My transmissions just don't have any specified physical location, so the game doesn't know where the sound source is so it doesn't play the sound at all. I could try to fix it somehow but the sound source location would be wrong most of the time.
This mod does not let you swap parts visually sadly, the best I could potentially MAYBE do would be somehow adding an option to swap a D-Series frame on other body-on-frame vehicles but idk how I would connect it to the bodies and also it could break a lot of stuff and would be useless. This idea is better for another mod but not by me, I'm too busy to make this a thing.
Yeah that's a known issue, transmission sounds don't seem to work at all if you change them, it will be fixed in a future update of the mod I hope.
