    it could be that the normals of the polys are facing the wrong way? if they're visible from the other side then it's that

    It's not that, it's that from the outside some textures take precedent over others and cause this weird transparency effect. Video shows what I mean.

    oh you could try checking the transparency settings on the materials? idk why they'd be on by default but that looks like some of the alpha blending modes

    in beam, i think it's under the advanced section of the material editor

    Looks great! I had the same idea to port track models from other games into Beam, but I could never figure out how to make the textures load. Good job!

    Not really, I had to finish up the rest of my school exams which kinda put this on the backburner. I'm done with school now so I'm hoping to continue this, the main roadblock I'm hitting is the weird texture priority thing that almost all maps suffer from. I should have an updated version of figure 8 out soon though

    Update! Figure 8 Circuit has now been updated have a whole bunch of things that bring it up to speed with Wario Stadium like double sided and transparent textures, functional lights under the bridge, and anisotropic filtering on all the textures so they don't get so blurry. F̶o̶r̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶s̶o̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶g̶r̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶r̶e̶f̶u̶s̶e̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶c̶t̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶g̶r̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶h̶o̶p̶e̶f̶u̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶l̶a̶t̶e̶r̶.̶ 1am update: grass is grass

    Maybe add mk8 wario stadium ? I don't know what to do with anti-gravity parts though, maybe rotate them.

    Yeah, I'm not sure how to do a lot of the courses post-Wii because of the anti-grav, underwater, and gliding sections.

    For the gliding section you could put a simple semi transparent road, and maybe you could add wind to make the car stick to the wall for the anti-gravity sections, and for the underwater sections you can either use an electric car or make the water fake.

    Being able to do Mario Circuit from 8 would be cool, time to learn how gravity triggers work

    -New Tracks! We've got Yoshi Falls and Circuit, Delfino Plaza, and Mario Circuit DS

    -Just realized as I am writing this that Delfino Plaza has no groundmodels, I'll send out a hotfix soon

    And now is when I ask for some help. I will be releasing a HEAVY W.I.P version of Mario Circuit from Mario Kart 8 on this message because I need someone to get the gravity working properly, I could not figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Update 3.1: Fixed a whole bunch of uvs and added groundmodels to Delfino Plaza. Some of the signs are different on both sides but the only way to fix that would be to mess up the uv and re export it to beam for every single one which would take hours. The file on the main post should be updated!
