I have a feeling like there might be an end to grid map. Like I feel if you go past the 32-bit integer limit I feel there might be corruption similar to Minecraft's "Farlands" what do you guys think?
why don't you try it? move the car's coordinates with the world editor if you want to do it faster. all that will likely happen is that the point instability will get super jittery when you get 500km+ out.
no. i mean like actually driving. I will use a highly efficient car (most likely the Pessima HX) then use agent y's value mod to change the burn efficiency to 1000%. I am probably going to stream it on twitch maybe.
Either the terrain is just infinite, and you will never reach "the end" Or what Cpt. Zoll said, it's like the Farlands in Minecraft, going beyond a certain x or z coord. will make the game feel "jittery" and will either crash the game or entirely break the physics Either way, use a compass aswell, I heard you won't be able to navigate "the void" in a straight line otherwise
yup. Should i stream it tho? --- Post updated --- Also. does anyone know the center point of steering so it wont steer right?
the game starts to not be able to handle it around 30 km from the middle, it´s still playable to at least 100 km though I have never been further than that
10 km a day is not much you can probably do a lot more than you think, if you go 170 km/h for 4 hours, you drive 680 km, if you do that for a week, you can do 4760 km
Yeah. I tried streaming from geforce now and it wont work. I will try from my actual computer but it will look horrible
yeah. I was actually using obs but I dont really want to post live streams as there isn't a way to save the game and it crashes often on geforce now. And when i dont stream the game from the cloud it just looks like S#!t
I think if there was an end to Grid Small Pure, it would take a very long time to reach, but if you had the dedication, I think the end would look like the end of Gridmap.
Can confirm this. My previous statement was wrong. Somewhere between when I last played grid and now, they made it loop. There was a misaligned grid after about 70 kilometers of driving, and I think it is where it generated a new grid area, like chunks in minecraft
hmm. i think the title of my post is misleading. I am saying like the 32 bit integer limit, what happens when you drive past there?
