G923 wheel not found in hardware

Thanks. Could you please ensure the game is closed, ensure the wheel is connected to the computer, then head to your beamng user folder, delete the temp/xinputcache.txt file, then open the game and see if you can assign the controls normally?

Thank you. Please attempt the following workaround (it only works with BeamNG.drive version 0.22.* or older):
- Ensure you have installed the necessary official Logitech software (check the manufacturer's manual or their support pages if in doubt).
- Open and close the game once.
- Open your BeamNG.drive user folder, go inside the 'Temp' folder.
- Open the 'xinputcache.txt' file with any text editor.

You'll see several lines. One of them mentions your G923 steering wheel.
- In the second column of that line, please replace the 'X' with a 'D'.
- Save your changes and close the editor.

The steering wheel should now be recognized in-game (in Options > Controls > Hardware), and you should now assign the controls for it (in Options > Controls > Binding).

We'll try to release a proper fix for this bug in a future update. For now this workaround will do.

 

Alright, a potential fix will be released in a future update (no ETA available) which will hopefully solve this problem affecting the XBox variant of Logitech G923.
