So, I have no idea how to execute this, so I figured I would take it to the forums. I am making engines for a 1957 Ford Thunderbird, and one of which has a centrifugal supercharger. The dyno graph I'm using for reference (https://www.automobile-catalog.com/...underbird_312_supercharged_v-8_overdrive.html) has the engine making peak torque at 2500rpm. Every time I try to make the supercharger make low end torque, it either goes over the stock boost limit or makes it at a much higher rpm (4000). As of right now, the only forced induction thing I have experience in modifying in-game is a turbocharger. I have a basic idea of what each value in the jbeam is thanks to the wiki, but I can't figure it out, so I'm hoping someone on the forums could give me some pointers on a way to do it.
Well... if it has a Centrifugal Supercharger, to get what your looking for, you may want to use a low ratio. I think real ones are 4:1 (roughly) but its best if you look up the ratio for the real one (naturally) as that will get you the closest. The lower the ratio, the more likely it will run out of steam at the top end (which is closer to what your looking for there). As you can see in the torque curve, everything after 2500RPM it is losing torque, so either the intake is restricted, or the supercharger can't keep the boost up for the engine, thus suggesting a low ratio. The downside of a low ratio is that unless the charger is really large, more than likely it will be difficult to build boost at a low RPM... which you may run into.
