Process Error

Sorry to start another thread about issues, but mine seems different from everyone else's.

Mine says that "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

I'm not sure what that means, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

this didnt help the error on my pc, the error in the updater is saying one of the files from the 'directx-redist' file is open so it cannot be updated... please help as i cannot play the game until this is fixed

 

Try disabling your antivirus.

 

IT WORKED! i thought i would have to be using rigs of rods for ever its surprising that even when you allow a piece of software to do what its doing, it still isnt fully up to you what happens, your anti virus is literally scanning every one of those files as it downloads... crazy shit
