Got a new PC want to know how it will run SPECS: CPU: AMD A8 7600 radeon R7 Ram: 8gb 1600mhz 1 stick GPU: XFX AMD Radeon 240 I have plans to OC both processor and GPU - - - Updated - - - We have good signs on my new computer!!! I plays spin tires full graphics 45-65fps what do you thing it would be for beamng (I am waiting for it to download)
Honestly not that well. Expect mediums and one (non-moonhawk, non-H45) car at 40-60 fps. The APU is meh and the 240 is weaker than the HD 7730 if I'm correct. Your laptop is better.
You are, infact its way bellow the 7730 preforming a little under even the 5770. Its a cheap card but quite low price to preformance.
I can play on grid all the default maps and run the mooonhack at 35fps and the 45 at 30ish fps. I am planign to upgrade but i need to make more money first. How is the CPU for beamng? When I am playing the gmae and "freeze" the screen the FPS shoots up? Does that mean I am CPU or GPU bound? What GPU would you recommend? I have a 520 watt PSU I know my laptop is better but I don't want to run all my games off of that because it gets hot like cpu 90c and gpu 80c. The problem with qosmio is that the fan that is it is so small it is i think 60mm fan for a 17.3in display and the high end card and cpu is just doesn't cool worth a crap!
That generally means you are CPU bound if the FPS shoots up. You are limited by being in the FM2 socket which doesnt have many high end CPU options available, but there are a few more powerful ones than yours available I think (sorry, can't quote model numbers right now) and sometimes room for a small overclock.
My system has: Msi Twin Frozer GTX 770 oc Intel i7 3770 core 850 psu 1920x1080 hd Samsung screen and it runs this game very well.
Not entirely sure why you got a new computer as your laptop is infinitely more powerful. Yes, you can run the game at decent FPS. Don't expect amazing performance, but with those specs it should be more than playable if you turn some settings down.
Actually the AMD APUs have the best performance per Gigahertz per core of all AMD chips, neither FX nor Phenom IIs come even close. A properly o/c-ed A10 series would make a fine rig for this task.
For the record, I run the game on a macbook air. It's playable on low specs, but if you want fps upwards of 15 you need higher specs....
