Experimental KissMP - new multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive

In the same folder where the bridge is located, open the server executable. After it started, open the config file it created. Set the max amount of people at 2, and do the others at your liking. If you're not on the same server, you're going to need to port forward the port where the server will be located. If you're on the same server, there is no need to do that. After that, if you made the server public iit will appear in the server list, if not go to the "direct connect" tab and enter the ip of the pc where the server is located,followed by two point ":" and the port where the server is located, then press connect. (Sorry if i'm not clear)

Verify if the IP address is correctly typed, as well as the port, and that the level is correctly typed.

 

Just saying I had no problems with the mod and so far it looks very promising. Just wish it was more popular.

 

hi, i start the bridge and start up beamng like instructed, but nothing happens. no ui. what am I doing wrong? (the zip is in the mod folder where it should be)

 

Have you checked if you have the right bridge? there is one for windows and one for linux

 

Which zip? Did you put the KISSMULTIPLAYER.zip folder in mods, or the folder you downloaded into mods?

The UI isn't appearing in-game, and the KISSMP.zip folder is in my documents/BeamngDrive/mods folder. I tried putting it in the mods folder that opens up when you click "open mods folder" in-game. That caused all my mods to not show up until I moved the KISSMP.zip folder out of that mods folder. It's also not appearing in the mods folder in game.

This mod is absolutely killer, so good that I built a second gaming PC for it (well, I had all the expensive stuff, but I did need to get a case, PSU, and cooler). My son and I have only played for an hour or so, but we're already hooked. I truly hope this lives on and on because this one is special. Awesome work with it.

 

Is this mod dead now? I took a 3 week break from BeamNG and now I'm looking at servers and there's only 1 dude on...
