I got this question for some time now: How many gamers know what BeamNG.Drive is?

After deeper thinking, not much tbh
But it's speculation about Beamng, so technically it counts?
Alright, ignore it if you want

Jesus I only asked a question that could be ignored, chill out.

    Some contribution
So we know all the trailers of the updates, but we might not know one thing: the showcase map. Can be seen from the Grand Marshall Remaster to the most recent trailers with some changes of lighting and banners refresh. Will it be available in the future? Maybe it is an addon to the showroom map?

This is actually really interesting. I've never seen anyone talking about this, it has been forgotten, like it was something that we know, something obvious...

On the topic of the Moonhawk, that car could use steroids to be completely honest with you. Its a missing opportunity to triple content and and have a full lineup of 70s cars. GM and all domestics when a little nuts with the badge engineering on the same platform, and building 11 different cars on the same body and engine. So, the question is, why dont we do the same? You could have a Moonhawk sedan and Wagon with a little work. With a little more work, we could have a Luxury model of the Moonhawk in couple and sedan shapes, and even a cheaper model that is based on the same platform but cheaper and i6 oriented. Change up the badges, mix up the front and rear ends and no one would bat an eye. At the end of the day thats what the domestic manufacturers did, so it wouldnt be out of place.

if they did this, they could do something similar to the FCV and just put all the configs in one category named after the platform

With the current UI their choices are rather limited actually. As long as the existing Moonhawk shares most of the construction with the hypothetical expansion options it's going to have to be in the same selector. Which is an issue since this platform is one of the few that could potentially surpass the D-Series for platform sisters/cousins, and that truck is already stretching the UI arguably past what is reasonable.

I agree that the Moonhawk needs a remaster (just like the Covet, Bolide, and (IMO) T-Series). I'm not sure if that is how they'd go about doing it. I'm really seeing one of three things happening (and hopefully all three soon): 1) Giving the Moonhawk new body styles, like a 5-door wagon, 4-door sedan and a 2-door coupe utility, 2) Giving the Moonhawk an earlier generation, with looks similar to the 1968 - 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle or Dodge Charger, or 3) Giving the Moonhawk a version that uses the Soliad marque.
Alas, this is not the vehicle suggestions, so I will clam it when it comes to what I want. Must split opinions from facts. Fact: we don't know what we'll get, but we know it'll be good.

While I do expect them to do a little more with the existing minor facelift, I don't expect much in the way of model year changes. A well-executed pre-malaise generation would be more like the Roamer/D-Series relationship than just a simple facelift, at which point I'd prefer to see something more unique than just the immediately preceding generation. 1973-1978 is a good model year spread for this sort of car, it's similar to all 3 counterparts (GM A-body, Chrysler B body, Ford/Mercury Torino & derivatives).

There's a good change we will only see one body style since that's been the standard for remasters even on vehicles that could really use multiple new body styles. The Moonhawk is in a more interesting position than the previous remasters though, which complicates expectations a bit. The thing with the Moonhawk is it's our only proper 1970's car, so new body styles are much more important than they were for the 1990's Gavrils and 1980's Bruckells. The only other 1970 content is the Barstow ('69-'71), Piccolina ('57-'73) and the semi-truck. 1970's really is barely represented in game, and the Moonhawk's platform could be easily used to get the 1970's American lineup in a half-decent spot (volume sedan/wagon, volume coupe, premium coupe, ute) and give us our first pickup that isn't the Pigeon or D-Series family.

I'd say this is a similar issue as the pre-malaise generation.

I'm by no means an expert on this era, but as far as I know... The GM A/G bodies of '78-'88 were a fair bit smaller than the previous A bodies (the Monte Carlo lost 800lb and 15 inches of wheel base for '78). I'm not too familiar with the Fords and Chryslers but I believe most comparable nameplates ended entirely with a few transitioning to smaller platforms (such as the FF sub-compact Charger). I just don't see a realistic way to push the model years further than they are without remaking most of the car. Those mid-1970's cars were just so different than the generations surrounding it.

That being said, the Moonhawk does have a less unique body than counterpart cars, so maybe they could do something less conventional with it. At the end of the day it is a fictional car.

Good point, i would think that the moonhawk would get an upmarket trim called the legran to add some history to the current legran and they could be linked by either adding a prefacelift legran or by extending the model years.

AR162b's old mod covered more model years and added either 2 or 3 more fascias, with the "early" fascia being very similar to the one we ended up getting as vanilla content. Think it was stated to go through MY 1981. Is he still staff?

it would be more likely for a soliad version to we called a wendover or have a wendover trim
