The idea of a 1970's Bolide itself isn't unrealistic, assuming appropriate styling and tech changes are made. Being that this seems to be a major remaster, that isn't out of the question. Both the Countach and Pantera had early 1970's to early 1990's model years. Personally I'd love to see the Bolide take this route since both of those started with more understated bodywork but got more overstyled with facelifts, which would be a great trend to see translated to the Bolide. A 1960's Grand Tourer, while an end game niche, is one of the more popular requests. It would also be a great first British car.
it would be more likely for it to be another civetta as most brands in the game have more than one car and even in the (unreliable) car list from around 2013 there was mention of a front engined 60's civetta
That actually isn't true. There are 11 vehicle brands in the game, and 6 of them have only 1 car. (edit: I included the Vivace and Tograc together as the same car here, because they are made by the same company, in the same model years, on the same platform.)
I’m pretty sure covet will be the first, as it already had a minor update similar to the part 1 of the d-series if they add a new body style to the bolide it would probable be a late 70’s version and then late 80’s version, similar to the countach. Or a t-top
Both of you are wrong. There are 11 brands, 5 of them have at least 2 cars, another 5 have only one. The last one, Cherrier, have basically two different models that have very similar base. But that doesn't change that much in what category we will put Cherrier, there are still 50/50 more or less.
That is if we don't count crossovers as a separate vehicle. The FCV is supposed to be a small (is it really though?) hatchback variant of a larger platform (think Volkswagen Golf and MQB)
Gabe specifically said he forgot about the Fulmine back in maybe 2014 and we shouldn't be expecting it. That list was just some concepts from nearly a decade ago and at this point is really just a pool of names that may or may not be recycled some day. The Fulmine, even after speficially being cancelled, is still a fairly popular suggestion, hence I think that niche needs to be filled by something, whether it be a Fulmine or something else. Also I personally love vintage racing so I'm always up for more old race cars.
The Fcv pretty large because its a brand new car, which ofc has to fit to modern crash test regulations.
I'm not quite sure I recognize the Bolide sound..... a V10? It sounds like a V8 but it has some funky overtones to it that I don't recognize.
The body seems to be similarly altered to the industrial teaser version, which is way more conservative than most would have hoped.
Wha- Of course it's not! Look at the video, the rear panel of Bolide have higher quality Or maybe it's because of lighting, I dunno. Maybe I didn't pay attention to it and its the same or my graphics are not highest Also how this can count as shitposting
Nope, I honestly don't think that they're going to remaster the Bodile any time soon. What we saw in the industrial map video was probably just a racecar widebody that we might see later on.
I just don't understand why they would keep the current underwhelming design, the mods would break anyway.
I do think that the Bolide will get a remaster. It desperately needs one over any other car (except maybe the Sunburst), and there is lots of evidence pointing to some sort of remaster.
