How come crashing an automation car is so ew like it just looks horrendous also what is wrong with the lights pressing the brake like it turning on the taillights are like setting off a nuke it’s sooo bright
Because the automation cars don't really have much more polygons compared to the custom mods and dev content
Automation Cars aren't split up into different parts like bumper, fenders, etc. and only consist of a single body crash model. Also, it's from an exporter so what do you expect? That can be fixed by changing the fixture type from Headlights to taillights and setting the fixture texture to an actual taillight texture.
Actually low poly cars usually crash better than very high poly ones, unless they are like extremely low poly like made out of default Blender objects, but even Automation cars have more polygons than that. The main issue is the Jbeam which is made to be universal (as in 99% of the cars you export will be drivable) and to achieve that the crash physics had to be sacrifised because you can't have both good universal driving and good crashing at the same time with the exporter.
First of all, try not to talk like a 9 year old, and second I would have to agree with you on these things. But, creating a dev-level j-beam for every automation car you import would be hard and could not be done automatically.
XD I’m 16 it’s more of a thing between me and my friends of these “Poop” things but let’s not stray away from the topic in her lol --- Post updated --- Ohhh dang
Can I split it up into spectate parts my self? Because I love how they look when I build them then I go to crash the car and it looks like a mushed cake lol --- Post updated --- Here*
I got a possible dumb question but so your saying that like right now say I build a car with no fixtures and I go into blender and separate doors windshields bumpers etc and I load it into game without messing with the jbeam I can have a ok mod?
No, since the flexbodys would need to be assigned and the JBeam would still be a single piece, so it won't be able to break apart.
Just look at this thing it might help idk https://www.beamng.com/threads/tutorial-how-to-improve-your-automation-cars-with-file-editing.71694/
