0.22 Discussion thread | Use Safe Mode before reporting

Sometimes my clutch input (shift key on the keyboard) temporarily stops working, causing me to constantly grind gears until it suddenly works again. not exactly sure what fixes it, but modifying or resetting the vehicle helps sometimes. (Yes my keyboard is fully functional; the issue only appears within BeamNG)

 

i think they should make this fit better in pt-br translation
(gravity menu)

 

Maybe you guys need to come up with a shorter way to say "negative earth"

 

Another problem from 0.19 version:
Cherrier Vivace/Tograc I4 Stage 3 Turbo blowoff sound is very loud, especially on hood camera.
I used a vanilla BeamNG. I tried with and without Safe Mode, same result.

 

Are there any other programs in place of "NodeBeam Editor"?

 

As far as I know, nodeSnap is an alternative; it is stated to be an improvement over NodeBeam Editor. However, the utility has yet to be released, but when it eventually does, you can use that instead.

You can still download NodeBeam Editor on GitHub after the 0.22.2 hotfix removed it from the core files entirely. Whether or not nodeSnap would be included with the game in the future is up in the air, but seeing that the game used to come with NBE from 2016 until now, that possibility is unlikely to be ruled out.

In all vehicles, when you flip or rollover car and camera stay swinging, and some mods have no texture

 

With the last minor update, facelifted wagon LeGran now have facelifted taillights by default.
But why are this facelifted taillights not available on the sedan LeGran ?

No, it doesn't, at least in the 800.

 

Complain to the authors of those mods, not here

 

Don't know when this started appearing but I am getting noticeable color banding in the sky. Don't know if anyone else is having this issue, tried clearing the cache but it hasn't gotten rid of the banding.

 

The game needs better sky stuff, like the skybox etc and the transitions from day to night can be improved.... Probably in the next updates.. I hope.

 

Well, the thing is IRL you can just move shift knob where you want. You also can do this in game mapping buttons to desired gears (eg. reverse, neutral and 1-8 gear) and it's working in automatic gearboxes too (eg. 1st gear is parking in automatic). The problem is it is designed for shifters so you need hold that button. Would be nice to have option to choose gear without holding the button. It would help a lot for people who don't have shifter and are using only shift up and down option.

So, for example, I have selected D, then I change ESC to Sport, i have M7 gear selected and rather stopping or downshifting and ruin engine to select D again I could just press one button to jump to D. When I press "shift up" it would just shift up like usual (so to S and then to M).

 

Hmm, I was wondering about that because the only way to do that right now is switch the transmission mode to arcade and then back to realistic as the arcade mode switches it to drive or sport most of the time.

 

legran and wendovers windows display these weird grass artifacts when dynamic reflections is turned on.

 

Not sure if this has bin reported or not because I can’t be bothered to read the entire thread but sometimes pressing anything on the keyboard like ctrl c or n and m for light etc just doesn’t work until you reset the car please fix it’s so annoying

If the rally variants of the FCV are based on WRC, it is normal for them to have license plates, i think.
