Help with F2 key troubleshoot

I am a complete doofus when it comes to computers. My F2 key is my reduce volume key and I need to use Shift+F2 to access a menu for a re-shader and I can't because the F2 is linked to the volume control. Anyone out there who can help?

 

Is this on a PC or a Laptop, As with a laptop there is usually a Fn (Function) Key or something like that, and the volume controls are applied with the function key pressed. And I personally haven't used a keyboard with media keys on the F# Buttons, so a little more info is needed before I can help
