here's some speculation for the bolide fetishists:
    upload_2021-3-30_22-22-17.png
the banner in Italy for the high end car dealer has the silhouette of what appears to be a bolide.
however, the roofline is a lot lower and smoother, with the windscreen a bit further back, and primarily, the rear quarter window is shaped completely differently, giving the whole car a much more 70's design. could this be hinting at a much more dramatic styling change for the bolide remaster?

I find it funny how we speculate about everything :D
Maybe this design was made for Logo to fit?

Maybe, but I think that we SHOULD speculate on this...

I doubt it would be a pre- facelift with an entirely different body, most similar RL cars kept the same body to the point of being outdated.
take the ferrari 328 for instance, it was made up until 1989, similar to the bolide, but it used exactly the same body panels (save the nose and tail) as the 308, which came out in 1975.

considering many people have complained about how "flat" the bolide looks, i wouldn't be surprised if this is how they're remedying it.

That's pretty much what always happens and seeing how many issues are reported in the 0.22 thread, it's very likely.

I hope they fix the various deformation and breakgroups issues that have been reported for the LeGran and Wendover. New cars are usually not very polished at first, the Vivace was kinda an exception, it was mostly good from the start.

Yeah, I got an image of the legran bumper spiking after I hit a rock off-roading.
Also on the legran wagon the mattress straps are way off the actual bars, and the manual transmission has no visual parking brake. I have images of those issues but I’m on mobile

The new barrel smashing scenario has some real personality in the flavor text setting up the mission and for the mission fail and success screens. I wonder if that's just a one off, or if that is supposed to be from a character we meet in the story mode. I also wonder where that mission would fit in in the career mode.

    For the next update speculation:

    Vehicle Reworks:
So, if the devs worked on 80s cars they might follow with Civetta rework and maybe T series with H series ?
I’ve seen many people talking about H-series, but I can’t find any resource pointing at that as it is 90s vehicle. Imo, T series miss some configs or newer facelift similar to this:
    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe...nal_truck_docked_at_Duke_Hospital_South_2.jpg

    Maps:
Gridmap Rework has been posted with a design image and we can be almost certain that we will see it in the next two upcoming updates.

    Career:
I’m interested if career will follow the rocky start campaign path where you begin with beater vehicle and try to make money. Let’s say you want to become a street racer and you travel to west coast and race there while traffic is on with police or that you want more off-roading so you spend doing a different path in Utah for example. Or maybe even b come a policeman, firefighter etc...

    Physics:
Maybe new triggers like all doors+trunk, windows from inside and entering the vehicle animation with walking mod?
Tire wear and temperature? Possibly blowing up tires by long burnouts.

Far stretched speculation about next new vehicle (next year):
I know this is way too early to talk about, but what are you thoughts on the upcoming vehicle?
Will that be Asian heavy duty vehicle or European rwd sedan like British Jaguar or swedish Volvo or smthg totally different?

And that's what people call "speculation" now. It's a sugestion out of nowhere. Btw devs said that they don't plan implementing this in near future

I’m not suggesting it’s in need to do that. Just following recent updates as they both had changes to tire physics.

if they would be adding a European RWD sedan, they would probably add the ETK 840

The problem with the Bolide isn't that it's "flat," the problem is that its wheelbase is too long.
(I tried to keep the enlarged picture of the Bolide from being stretched in any way, but it may be slightly off. I tried.)

Also the car in the middle is a Ferrari 512 BB, the car that the Bolide looks most like, at least in my opinion.

The Moonhawk seems most desiring of work. Where are more V8s than the 378? Where is a vinyl top? Where are catalytic converter versions? Where are more interior options (e.g. front bench, non-sport cluster)?

I don't feel like the bolide has that much longer wheelbase, but different geometry of the windshield and upper body. Also, the front bumper is shorter.

    Forgot totally about moonhawk.

I feel that it would look more realistic, if not just better, if the front wheels were just moved back a small bit. That's the largest thing that I've seen that differs from irl cars, that and that the line from the very front of the car to the top of the wheel well curves upwards slightly, while every real life car either has that line completely straight, where the whole body of the car is more angular and boxy, or it curves downwards, where the car overall is designed with more curves and less hard body lines. (correct me if I'm wrong but I've looked a lot). It seems to try to be both, trying to look like a boxy Lamborghini mixed with a curvy Ferrari. There's nothing wrong with that, and the devs can design it however they please, but I feel that changing some of these small things would make for a more cohesive and visually appealing car.
