Hey, I have a great idea: Can You all calm down? Jesus. Let EnjoyMyHIts work, then You can point out what should be fixed or improved.
my dad used to have one years ago. 635csi with an auto trans in alpine weiss. he would love to see it in this game he now owns an bmw e34 m5 in diamant schwarz metallic
well i was a bit sad to not be a beta tester but i mean i dont have experience in that anyway so it was no problem but nice that your doing an old 635 BMW i looking forward to drive that thing when its out no matter how long it takes i hope it just come out
If you guys want to chat about my mod that's fine but 1) it's off topic in this thread 2) make sure to know what you're talking about I'll try to clear some smoke again for those who want to know : I can release the CTK on the forums whenever I want because you can't steal mesh from someone who took mesh from Forza. Nearly all mods for GTA are using commercial game's meshes. If you don't know this and try to contact GTA modders you often end up with dead links and outdated email addresses. Then if you finally get one to answer you get something like "yes can use your mod"... @Agent_Y, yes the LUA that I used for gear stick movement was refused on my Straight Eight mod. It's the same code as I used for the CTK. However at that point (straight eight point) it wasn't clear for anyone where the line between propietary and non propietary code lines sit, and it still isn't. It was just decided by the moderator in question after a report, but I do agree the original code writer deserves credit which I neglected. I left his code untouched out of respect actually, as you know I can code that stuff fast forward and reversed. You can find my explanation (as you know but for others to read) here. However, this was not the reason the CTK was taken down from the repo. At that time the devs too believed that the mesh was 'so called' made by a GTA modder. But the true fact is that the mesh comes from Forza (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1985-bmw-m5-e28) and this can never be published on the repo anyway. So here I'm getting back on topic : Mesh from Forza can always be used as a forum mod until the day Mr Greenawald decides to pay us a visit ! (this is part of the forum and modding rules) @EnjoyMyHItsYT, that mesh you are using ? By the looks it seems very clear that this is Forza mesh too, you just need to dig further into this until you find a link that proofs credits to Turn 10, as this was the case for my mod. If you get stuck somewhere on the search, I can get you the original Forza mesh for your car anyway. After years of trying to extract my own Forza discs I gave up and downloaded iso's some months ago. Then I got myself all the tools those GTA modders use and extracted the models myself !
Oh, sorry for causing the misinformation with the shifter lua, I didn't know that it was "allowed" to do that back when you made the CTK. I thought both mods were removed for this reason.
"allowed"? I don't know if you ever bothered to study this : -- This Source Code Form is subject to the terms of the bCDDL, v. 1.1. -- If a copy of the bCDDL was not distributed with this -- file, You can obtain one at http://beamng.com/bCDDL-1.1.txt but this isn't the place to talk about this further, please keep thread on topic and let author do his work.
Update 1.0 -Added 5 Liverys 1. Police 2. Marlboro 3. Arcus Air 4. Gubin Racing 5. Geniune BMW Parts 6. Alpina - it's broken for some reason / not working now. I'm going to add the Light bar to the Police version. The M-Power Livery has a weird broken point on the rear as you can see, i will fix that. The Liverys are not Paintable. Also the Jbeam is completely reworked. More to that later on.
