Awesome mate, can't wait to see the progress you make on this. Extra brownie points to you for actually doing a real dragster
Watching the tire/tyre flex on this while launch is going to be interesting to watch! Also, make sure to have an engine that's indestructible for.. well.. stupid amount of BHP reasons..
it’s technically front engined because the engine is in front of the drivers seat and rear wheels. It’s just a front engine dragster with a looooonnnngg hood.
Technically its mid engined because the engine is between the 2 axles. As it is in front the driver seat you can call it front mid engine.
Because a normal dragster (TFD) has the motor behind the divers capsule and a Front Engine Dragster (FED) has the motor infront of the drivers capsule --- Post updated --- Im at a hold ATM. The whole thing is being a pain in the a$$ and no one will help me. This is my second actual Jbeamed project and there isnt anything like it in beam to try to use the Jbeam from... So right now at standstill till i can get help
If you look at a lot of the older dragsters from the 1960's and 1970s as well as up to the early 80's in some cases the engines were mounted in front of the cockpit. This isn't a modern dragster by any means. This is one from the 60's/70's.
Im at a hold ATM. The whole thing is being a pain in the a$$ and no one will help me. Li there is still FEDs i promise
Did you make that rollcage because im trying to make a similar rollcage for a mini mod but i cant get it to look right
