Beamng always goes back to windowed mode

My game goes on startup back to windowed mode with space between the game-border and the screen-border
It is since ages like that, but i was too lazy to ask for help

it is always like this on startup


and i want it fullscreen (without going borderless) like that


stats: Win 7, have the game on steam but i forced it to x64 via the gamefiles so steam won't notice when i start bng up

Definitely still an issue here. I also have Windows 10.

Still happening actually, it goes back to windowed when i restart the game and when i switch application.

 

Yep, still happens. Sort of annoying but i get used to it when time passes on

And whenever I alt tab out of the game, it just switches to windowed mode again and I have to go into the settings to change it

remove notifications from your security , i used f-secure, clicked on settings, notifications set to off. it worked first time i changed to full screen and stayed there.
