I like that. Even though the D-Series chassis is too old for a modern truck, I believe that starting as a body option on an existing chassis (Like the Roamer) will be a good start. And I'd suggest you to make the body as strong as the D-Series' with rollcage.

you should stop making a bunch of thread like this. wait until you have actual progress before showing your work and make sure you're going to finish it. don't fall into the deep hole of overhyping and overpromising. learned that the hard way

Although the roamer and d-series share the same frame :p

But it makes no sense to use this frame on a 2020 pickup, it's probably way too weak for modern safety standards

Exactly. But if you add an invisible rollcage, it becomes safe enough. Or if you work the Jbeam to increase the strength of the chassis, it will be good enough.

Well of course, but I wasn't going to do something like that anyways, I was planning on making my own frame n stuff.

And I don't exactly see the reason to do an invisible rollcage just because of the fact that im pretty sure I could just strengthen the beams on the bodies jbeam or something like that

Yeah it's better to do it the proper way by comparing the strength, stiffness and other stuff to real life modern truck crash tests and adjusting it until it's close enough than to just slap an invisible rollcage inside.

Well, as I said, there are some paths to follow. The easiest way is to reuse the D-Series Chassis but strengthned (since we have the Heavy duty chassis, we can have the "Modern" Chassis). That would help if you plan to make a 2020 Gavril Roamer. But anyway, nice to see someone making a modern pickup truck that is not just a meshslap.

Got some more stuff done. Also somethin you all should know, the truck won't look exactly like the silverado so it can go on the repo xP.

Tell me what u all think about the front :p is it ugly or is it uuuh ok looking

I kind of liked. But I would suggest you to make a mix of the designs of the Silverado and Sierra, mayge putting some F-150 on it. Apparently, if you just change the logos from Chevrolet to Gavril you'll be good to uploadit to the Repo.

I was just about to say that like mix the design of both because isn’t technically Gavril Ford? Because the facelift roamer looks like the Lincoln

Exactly. I would say Gavril is a mix of both Chevy and Ford. Some cars, like the Grand Marshall looks more Ford, as Early D-series, although the two latest D-Series give me more Chevy vibes. The SOHC engines are totally Ford Modular.
