... understandable. My apologies. I most definitely overreacted. I also totally forgot it's a) the weekend and b) Valentine's Day (quarantine really do be like that). There is no excuse and it won't happen again, feel free to ban me immediately if it does.
Bro, you did right mention of issue. I don't know why this thread even exists. Because nobody of devs read it. May be 1 time in year (after VD). An even you've posted 100 bug's reports the reaction will be "Oh. Just shut up and don't warning us". OK. Just close this thread and make your work in silence. PS Look close. Just after this post will begin tolerance discussion.
I stand by my bug report, and yes, a number of people have reported it before. My behavior was over the top and disrespectful, so that is what I'm apologizing for.
I've posted VIDEO with problem 1 month ago. OK. They said today: "...were unfortunately missed for that reason". It seems all user's reports "was missed". Dear devs, let admit that you would not take attention to that ESC bug if vmlinuz not repeat that 100 times.
No. That is totally another problem with EV cars. An that was in December. --- Post updated --- Dear Stoat Muldoon, please reply to THIS thread to confirming of bug reports... and all will be happy. But you and your colleagues appear here only after another "bubble trouble" and Team have free time ever for discussing for politeness and occupation but not any time for bug's conforming.
you are not entitled to getting an immediate response from a dev to your bug report. Even if nobody replies to your report it's still being seen and acknowledged by the team no matter what as Stoat said in his reply.
Here's another one, reports(including mine) is about the ESC problem that in low-speed non-aggressive cornering But if you do that in Driver Camera, you can see the ESC indicator flashing, not the TCS Note: in any of those External Cameras the ESC indicator/button on the UI flashes in either ESC in action or TCS in action, you have to use internal camera to look at the dashboard to find out which one, ESC or TCS.
chill. There are limited staff working on this game. They don't have 50 staff members to dedicate to look over every thread and platform and get a response to everybody within 30 seconds, they don't even have 50 staff members to begin with. Plus it was never clearly put out that the ESC was bugged on a platform other than Linux (not supported) until yesterday, A WHOLE 2 MONTHS since the update came out.. or so I can find at least. If you can find an earlier post, be my guest. It's also valentines day AND the weekend too, so less are working to begin with. Just disable the ESC if its game breaking to you.. that's what I've done most of the time. I doubt they can overhaul the whole ESC system AGAIN over one bug fix, even if they were late to start working on it because of miscommunication in here.
beamng forum users in their basement with their keyboard ready to epicly own any developer who wants to have some sort of a life outside the funny car crash game
I have put everything together since it appears nobody else in here can do it properly. I have found the D-Series, ETK 800, ETK K, Vivace (AWD, FWD, Electric), and the SBR4 have different issues. The D series ESC gets stuck on braking the rear wheel in some instances. Power and Torque decreased until brake is free. 800 and the K series have the braking and stalling issue turning at low speeds. Power and Torque decreased until brake is free. VIvace's have the braking and issue turning at low speeds. SBR4's have the braking and stalling issue turning at low speeds. Power and Torque decreased until brake is free. A video will be uploaded shortly showing off every issue I have found so far. No mods and cache is cleared. Stock configs have been used for every vehicle. Using Windows 10 and a steering wheel.
Rally Sunburst's front halfshafts get damaged just by turning the wheels. Only slightly, indicated green on the detailed damage app. Not a big deal, but also not acceptable. Fix it now or money back!
I'm a Windows user, and I reported the problem in DEC 19, And guess what? NO RESPONSE. Also this, TWO MONTHS AGO Not to sound rude, and I understand the devs have weekends and holidays, but the devs should have officialy recognize the problem much earlier, before vmlinuz's complaint(it's totally okay for devs to take their time even for months to fix the ESC problem and I won't complain, but if the problem is not being recognized, expect the players to continue reporting it until recognized by the devs).
Nice to see that there are still multiple self entitled children in this thread who would rather abuse employees who are on their day off about meaningless bugs in a videogame. Be patient and let them fix it, the last year of updates have been better than ever before and it's virtually guaranteed they will fix it as soon as they can understand the issue better. Screaming at them after they haven't fixed it to suit your timeframe isn't going to help anything. If you actually want to be useful, then spend a couple of hours troubleshooting the issue and provide the devs proper concise screenshots and video recordings of the issue, and what you did to reproduce it. Oh and if you need ESC to be able to drive then I think the problem is with your driving and not the ESC
Thanks for finding it, I read over it and it wasn't the clearest tbh. But still, reported two months ago. --- Post updated --- Here is the video I recorded with most of the vehicles with the problems. I dont know what all configs do it and what dont. The roamer with the RWD Transfer has the same issue, but not with the 4wd transfer in 2wd. Not sure if the D series is the same or not. Also, Chapters are included to click through.
FROM HERE ON OUT, RESPECTFUL BUG REPORTS ONLY I was part of the group that provided feedback on the bug, but at this point, we've all agreed that the devs will look into it and attempt to fix the problem. There is no point in being rude or talking about how "you were there first", as we all agree that we want this game to become better. We are on the same side, two parts of the same team. We really are beta testers of a massive project, and they are the people who fix what we find. We do quality control, they do engineering, but we're working together. I propose that everyone sum up their report into one post each and that way, the devs can look at it quickly and hopefully get it fixed just as easily.
Why is that there was barely anyone mentioning the ESC bug before, and now multiple people are going ABSOLUTELY INSANE about why it's still not fixed? From the context I can tell that the devs have known about this issue ever since December but had no detailed info on it now, not even what operation system it happens on, then they just assumed it was Linux-specific and that's the ONLY reason why it wasn't immidiately addressed. It's like you guys can't even report the bug properly and then get mad that it hasn't been fixed over the weekend, and it probably requires months of work to fix... CAN YOU FINALLY LEARN THAT YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED FOR INSTANT BUG FIXES AND THAT BY USING A GAME THAT IS STILL NOT COMPLETED YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT YOU CAN EXPERIENCE EVEN MORE SERIOUS ISSUES THAN THIS??? And stop straight up lying that the devs don't fix the bugs the users report here, I can confirm they have fixed at least 2 bugs reported by me so far, and my reports were pretty detailed including the cause of the problem inside the game files. Maybe you should do the same to make the work of the devs easier? (Of course not for the ESC bug, I don't expect you to mess with the LUA code for it and try to find the solution yourself, but with a simple bug like glass not breaking or wrong configs you can always provide the exact files and lines of code that are wrong.)
Report in December wasn't that clear. I noticed it day 1 but figured it was a mod conflict. No clue why everyone else is freaking out.
Would be cool if you guys (the devs) would have an "Acknowledged" rating that you could give to a bug report to show that you have seen it & put it on The List™. Would definitely eliminate some of the heated situations
