It does stem from the camera mod, but it's very hard to figure out what part of the mod is causing the error compared to previous versions
What camera is this supposed to work from? I enabled the app from the ui screen and when I press 5 on the numpad or click the enable button nothing happens I just enter freecam mode. This is from the driver view. Do I need to fix the camera somehow or should it automatically work? Thanks --- Post updated --- I meant to say reset button not enable, sorry.
These are my current settings (as discussed here): ' <span>Sensitivity: {{ lookaheadSensitivity }}</span><br>' + ' <input type="range" min="0.001" max="0.025" step="0.001" value="0.001" ng-model="lookaheadSensitivity"></input>' + ' <span>Linearity: {{ lookaheadLinearity }}</span><br>' + ' <input type="range" min="1" max="100" step="1" value="1" ng-model="lookaheadLinearity"></input>' + I call this "the poor man's triple screen"...
Hey guys, I'm having a problem since the new update for BeamNG arrived. I can't open the ingame app for adjusting sens and linearity anymore. I already tried just typing the values in the JavaScript file under /ui (...) but to no avail. Has anyone else already come across this problem and has a fix for this? Really love the mod but now the max camera angle when turning the wheel all the way is just way to high. Help would be highly appreciated =)
Hello, thanks for reporting the issue. I will look into it. In the meantime you can edit the settings in the settings.ini file located in "AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.23\settings\bluetac". Open it with your favorite text editor and adjust the values to your liking. When the game is running in the background, don´t forget to reload the lua-engine with "ctrl l". Kind regards

Found a bug with the new update, if you leave the car, you cannot get back in even if you tried to manually tab the player object is still there and doesn't get removed properly
Awesome camera option! Love the active range you have for driving and racing around tracks. Would there be a way to tie in the head movement/look direction with the vehicle direction rather than steering input? The orbit cam has 'follow vehicle movement' option that would make the look ahead camera perfect for in cockpit drifting and rallying!
Not sure how best to describe it... The orbit camera has an option that 'follows vehicle movement', so when your car goes sideways in a drift it keeps pointing in the direction that the car is sliding. In AC you can use 'Neck FX' to copy this effect. In Forza Horizon they have 'drift camera' from the cockpit view. So the idea is to look where the car is sliding rather than what your steering input is. Often the steering input will match the direction of the slide but when you are chaining slides together there are moments where you are steering opposite to where you are sliding and can be somewhat jarring. Maybe have race/drift mode settings. Race mode is as current, you look to where you are steering (very useful to hit nice apexes etc). And Drift mode where you look to the direction of the slide. If possible excellent, but anyways it's a great mod and done very well!!
Is this mod working properly with the latest update 0.26.1? I am unable to get it to work and am not sure if its me or some software issue? Thanks.
Yes, I can change to the LA camera but the camera view stays stationary while the car moves forward 2 meters then the car warps back to where it originally was and repeats this 2 meter roll and warp. Most all the other cameras do a similar except for External. Basically the mod really messes up all the camera views and I could not get it to function at all.
