If your having this problem and your taking turns less than 20mph (30kph*) and the vehicles not working at all with ESC you should Clear your game Cashe and verify the game files. If neither work do a clean install. https://documentation.beamng.com/support/support_tools/clean_install.html.

    Edit: Videos are extremally helpful.

    Here's your video:

It's pretty obvious, not sure why you'd need video proof, but ok. Can't even get through a traffic circle without the brakes seizing up

I don't mean to be rude, but are you using Windows for this or Linux? Wine is good, but not perfect yet and maybe that has something to do with it?

Well... shit. It does still happen on Windows though, although I will say there are a few inconsistencies between the platforms.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of driving electronics do you have in that car, or is it a vanilla config? Maybe there is something conflicting with each other like having electric traction control on an ICE vehicle.

This is definitely not supposed to happen, at least it doesn't happen to me or anyone else I know. You either have some game-breaking mods or corrupt game files I think, I'd do a clean reinstall. Does the console show any errors?

    Linux.

It's also worth noting that electric car regeneration doesn't work on Linux, but that's my problem, not the devs'.

Also, for whatever reason it doesn't happen as much anymore despite having changed absolutely nothing. I think I was underestimating my speed through corners anyway, causing understeer and confusing the ESC.

It seems kind of weird to me that the SBR S trim now has turbos, despite not being named "TT". is there a plan to further revamp the naming scheme, perhaps renaming s1 to s2, s2 to s3, etc.?

Issues using other Operative Systems than the game is being developed for are not to be reported here.
That's uncharted territory and cannot guarantee the game to be functioning as expected there.
Please only report issues you experience when using the Windows OS :)

ESC is calibrated for specific configurations.
If you tune your car enough (ie. Installing different sizes wheels may be), it can start to malfunction and being triggered when not necessary, as the vehicle setup is not the one ESC was calibrated for. You should not get such issues with stock/nearly stock configuration, if you do it would be helpful for us to have the configuration, steps to replicate the issue and a video of the issue.

Idk if anyone has reported this but on the hopper, plate style rear bumper + number plate + tow hitch creates this

Can replicate this on Win10 with these conditions:
    • The DSE ESC system is used, I can't seem to replicate the bug with the Sunburst and the facelift Roamer/Pickup. I got it with the default variants of the 800, K, SBR, and Vivace. Then also with the 856 TTsport AWD (A), and the base and S RWD versions of the DCT SBR. And a couple other factory variants at random that I don't recall.
    • Around 50% steering input (about 230-270 degrees depending on vehicle in either direction) and low gas input, less than 30%, when the vehicle is travelling less than 30 kph or starting from rest (as indicated in the default UI speedo/tachometer).
    • The severe slowing down of the vehicle seems to happen more frequently with RWD or RWD biased AWD. ESC does still trigger with the various FWD, AWD, and electric Cherriers, but not to the extent of crippling the car. To get the ESC to stop intervening (and stop blinking the warning light), stop the car entirely with the brake.

Also, another observation here, the default UI speedometer mentioned above and the car-specific digital speedos now show higher speeds compared to the air speedometer apps, the opposite issue compared to older Beam versions. The wheelsdebug app then shows the lowest speed of these 3 types.
So, which speed is the most accurate? Assuming no wind.

Obviously the air speedo is more accurate as it doesn't rely on calculating speed using the wheel rotation, so wheelspin issues or other stuff don't affect it.

Yeah, this whole update is kinda terrible. None of the textures for the east coast and west coast maps work. All the cars with drive modes just kinda don't drive.

I think there's actually something wrong with your game installation and/or userfolder.

I’d like to see traffic light support for ai vehicles on traffic mode. I don’t know if this is possible but I would like to see if you could do that.

Small / moderate front collisions in the Gavril Roamer consistently results in these black parts clipping through the hood.

Back on Windows... The eSBR's gauge cluster still causes occasional FPS stuttering with multiple vehicles - by comparison, the Cherrier Vivace's dashboard does not have this issue.

The ESC lockup issue persists. It seems to be the front inside wheel that seizes up.

This is on Windows, a clean install, no mods, no cache, latest version

    Edit:
    > Adjusted body slip angle calculations affecting throttle control too much in low speed + high steering angle scenarios
Huh. At least there was an attempt - you sure you committed the changes?
