What you just did is called a bump. A bump is when you comment on a thread/resource which has either died due to the creator not updating the mod when a new game version releases or the owner of the mod ending work on the resource or the thread just not being commented on in a while. I see you just became a member today, So I will cut you some slack. When people do bump a thread, it annoys the BeamNG community as it gives them false hope into thinking the thread or resource has been updated, when it hasnt. While some members may tell you kindly to never bump a thread again, Some may use harsh and explicit words. This is a friendly reminder not to bump threads ever again.

 

You should keep these lines for everytime a newbie enters the forums!

Well, i suggested something that already existed.

 

Olá, sou brasileiro, gostei muito do seu mapa, só nao gostei de nao conseguir joga-lo, nao sei porque mas quando vou entrar no mapa, qualquer spawn do mapa, o mapa nem carrega, o jogo dá um crash quando está carregando o mapa, você poderia me ajudar a solucionar esse problema? Obrigado desde já.

it doesn't work on my computer anymore it keeps crashing my game every time I try to launch it I love this map but I can't play it anymore.

Done a quick unofficial fix. Hopefully the thread author creates an official fix for it later.

Note: I am not the original map creator, i am just someone who decided to fix the errors and make it playable again.

 

I forgot to tell you why it crashes and what i did to fix it.

It tries to spawn a vehicle and vehicle config which is no longer in the game.

In the file main/MissionGroup/items.level.json, its trying to load vehicles/etkss/v12_imperial.pc
I changed that to the pickup and the default pickup configuration
After changing this the map loads, but has lots of texture problem and the car i picked, the pickup spawns under the ground level.

I had to change so the car would spawn above ground.

Then fixed all texture problems by changing the references to textures it tried to load from old beamng maps that are no longer there.
some where in the map folders already so i referenced them and then added the missing textures from older beamng versions and referenced them in the materials.cs file.

Basically most map errors and texture problems are related to files referenced in the .json and .cs files which are no longer in existance as they were reither removed from the maps they were referenced or renamed to new file names.

 

Wait so the ETK s series "mod" ???
