Sometimes when i put an engine in, my game crashes. This may have been addressed or fixed but as my game doesnt automatically update repo mods then idk
I haven't had any issues with this as of the newest release. I would suggest manually downloading the mod of the repo on the website and replacing the mod from the in game repo.
I updated the mod. It includes adjustments to the transmission (haven't tested it, in class atm) and added a Hilux 2.8 Diesel with a couple of tuned ECUs.
According to the Wiki, "calculateOptimalLoadShiftPoints:true" only auto-calculate the "highShiftDownRPM" and "highShiftUpRPM". The "LowShiftDownRPM" and "LowShiftUpRPM" still have to be defined manually, If not, the "lowShiftDownRPM" will be 2000 and "lowShiftUpRPM" will be 2500, i.e too high. In AA80F, the "lowShiftDownRPM" and "lowShiftUpRPM" are absent, and in the A760F, the "lowShiftDownRPM" and "lowShiftUpRPM" are way too close, it'll shift back and forth at times even with constant speed. Also no need to rename "toyotatruckengines_starb2.zip", players just have to replace the older files.
Alright thanks for the criticism, however, I know that the players were gonna replace files lol. I was just in class and had to rush to finish, that's why I posted here, instead of posting a mod update. Man, I really need to start checking that wiki, all I've learned from are the stock game files lmao, I'm sure it's clear.
