I have been wondering for a long time wiso beamng has no radio. you can do it like this: either online radio via url or an ingame radio with preset stations
Because if they wanted to add any songs to it other than their own ones there would be copyright problems.
Music licenses are a pain. The devs would be better off doing Spotify integration, but that would require a partnership or something. The only benefit would be the convenience of it being accessible from the game. Unless your computer is a potato, you should be able to run Spotify, ITunes, Youtube, or whatever in the background and play the game with no issues.
I don't see any reason why you couldn't have a separate app playing music in the background, or even a separate device- when I'm playing I always have some music on my iPad.
Or simple, just have a record player nearby, no ads and keeps you supper fit because you need to get up every 15 minutes to do the herculean task of changing the record. Keeps you fit and adds some tunes while driving, what more could you want
Well my idea for a radio is that the game asks you for MP3 audio of songs you downloaded own your computer to install in the game to play on the radio to avoid copyright issues (Kind of like the radio from ETS2/ATS)
@Inn0centJok3r has a working radio in the focus/vertex mod, you just need to upload your own audio files, theres a guide somewhere
i want the soundtrack and the trailer music to be in the radio. custom music in the userfolder (mp3) too --- Post updated --- What if the 200BX plays darude sandstorm?
I'm sorry, BeamNG doesn't have a soundtrack as far as I know of, but either way, some mods, namely the Gavril Vertex, do indeed have radios built in, which you can add your own audio to. I don't think the devs ever intend to add one though.
