Experimental KissMP - new multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive

He means you sometimes can't see the KissMP widgets in full screen mode, I guess.

 

1: the window is running behind the beamng window, go into windowed, move it over beamng window, and then go back to fullscreen
2: in singleplayer the window is gone so it doesn't get in the way

I am new for KissMP and when i launch it, it says that the bridge is not launched. And i dont want to look 29 pages just for that.

 

In the folder, there is a windows folder. Inside it there is an exe file called kissmp bridge. Launch that. If you do do that and it still is broken, anti-malware and device security probably are getting in the way.

 

Allright i know whats happened.

I clicked on the linux map instead of the windows map...

 

Bridge is a program you have to run before you can use multiplayer

 

i finnaly made it run it works good

 

I had an glichy trailer full of cola.

 

Why doesn't it have a .exe installer to do all of this for us? You hit install and it unpacks itself to the correct directories, then launches bridge automatically when you launch the game.

 

because the whole point of this mod is to be simple, not over-the-top stuff with no use like beammp

 

yes, finally someone realizes that beammp is way too complicated for no reason at all, like server setup is so much easier in kissmp because there is no auth key or bs like that.

 

They have to update it almost every day because of bugs. Kissmp gets one or two hotfixes after it is updated.

 

plus you have to remember that kissmp has a much smaller dev team, it's only dummies and hellbox

 

It says bridge is running but no server list comes up. Idk what i did wrong

 

I’m sorry, what in trying to say is that I put the Kissmultiplayer zip file into the mods folder, then because on the first page of this forum, says choose a server from the server list, I launch the game and I don’t see any server list. This is why I was confused. Btw, I’m not familiar with discord or dms.

Nevermind, I got it.

 

I have one question about this. is there a detailed guide on hosting a server? whether public or private. I don't have the patience to read through almost 30 pages of posts to find a little bit of info.
