how to get higher resolution UI?

i used to be able to set the ui from 1080p to 1440p (my native)

this option seems to have disappeared. how can i set it to 1440p now? the ui seems fuzzy.

 

i dont think beam supports 4k. Most games automatically set to your native, so maybe if you reset the resoulution it could return to native?

 

the game itself runs at 1440p..

the beamng UI itself is just at 1080p

 

The UI can go up to 4k. I've noticed the option to change the UI resolution is only available when you're loaded into a level, and can't be changed on the main menu. Try loading into a map, and then change it, maybe?

Also though, 1440 ≠ 4k? I'm confused.

I’m able to run it at 4K on a 4K monitor by turning off the UI resolution setting entirely. This seems to allow the ui to go all the way up to native resolution, without limiting it to 1440p.

am I missing something here?

Edit: all is good, game can run at 4k, but some options made it a bit confusing and hard to be certain it could at first
