Sup guys. I've been having trouble playing on the remastered Small Island map. My FPS is pretty high on it. Runs at about an average of 115 FPS on 1440p. My only issue with it is that I'm getting some pretty noticeable microstuttering every couple of seconds while I'm driving around the island. Is this my computer or is this an issue with the game? Yes, the game is running on safe mode.

Right now, I'm currently running a Ryzen 5 3600x, RTX 3070, and running the game on my 1TB Samsung 860 Evo SSD. I've got 16 GB of DDR4 RAM that's been overclocked to 2833 MHz but I still continue to stutter. I'm soon to upgrade to 3200 MHz RAM, but I'm not sure if it's even going to help.

Hi, I had the same issue with my lenova legion 5. I just purchased this laptop with a rtx2060 and Ryzen 7 4700h combination. The first game that I tried was the Beamng. When I realized that microstutters in small island map I just disappointed because I thought that the laptop caused the problem. I have also a desktop with ryzen 5 3600x and rtx 2070 and I think it was just fine on it until I tried it after my laptop experience. That stutters were on there too. Trying other maps and games I finally decided that the problem is with the remastered si map.
On my laptop the map runs perfectly with 100+ avarage fps but in every 1, 2 or 3 second a stutter occurs. I can easily see them but term micro is really accurate. It can't be recognized with fps values because it is not a fps drop. You can see it better in free camera mod while you are wandering in the map with shift button.
You don't need to worry about your build. I think its fine, but remastered map not.
By the way get rid of that slowass ram sticks. Ryzen cpus just don't like them.

Good thing I did. I've replaced it with some 32 GB 3200MHz Trident Z RGB and it's still stuttering unfortunately.

Because it is cheap as hell. Even the some 1650 laptops are more expensive than what lenovo offers in this price range. In my country there is a lots of import fees and random taxes on technological products also. So, I had no chance. But come on man, Asus tuf was dealing with that weird thermal problems. Acers laptops have some shitty designs imo. I don't like Hp pavilions too. And here we are. Lenovo has rtx2060, 144hz ips panel, 8 cores ryzen7 4800h with a slick design. Its a solid option in this price range. Well by the way I didn't hear about that reliability problems maybe my opinions can change but we will see.
I am following the temps, usage and frequencies. There is nothing abnormal.

Not spiking on my end. It's fine on other maps and on other games. Just to reiterate, I've cleared cache and started the game in safe mode and it still continues to stutter.
