I have two "dead" or orphaned mods and I cannot seem to find them. They are causing some loading and performance issues. Normally I understand the place to go is in documents/beamng.drive/mods/repo. I found 1 of them there and removed it but there are 2 more. They show in the vehicle list despite not present in the mod folder. What else can i do?

    In Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods.
    NOT REPO
Also please clear cache and check your Documents/BeamNG.drive/vehicles folder for any unused stuff.

Can nobody here use the search bar, I have answered to this exact problem 2 times in other threads.
Just remove the mods that add parts for these cars and they will disappear from the selector. In the Semi EU case (which is easy to fix btw and there should be multiple fixed versions on its discussion thread) there is a mod that is supposed to add loads to it but not sure if it even does anything because the truck has no Additional Modification slot, if you add the slot manually it will work. The other mod is probably the Gavril Gladiator if I were to guess, since it got removed all mods that add stuff to it (and there are plenty of them) just create the empty slot.
Solution: try looking inside some of your mods and see if they have folders of the Semi EU or the other car, if yes then delete the folders and clear cache, it will fix it.

After some more poking around. I simply wiped all the mods and re-installed one by one. turns out a mod somehow was connected to this. It's not obvious at all mind you. Clearing cache did help but after, it was not the main fix.

That was what I was trying to tell you, if another mod adds parts to the mod but you don't have the main mod it will still appear in the selector. This is one of the reasons I avoid modding mods even though I am capable of doing it.
