To be honest, i'm suprised the updates over the last year haven't broken the truck.
Guess that's a sign of quality workmanship then.

Generally vehicles that don't borrow anything from the game will always work. Taking a look at seargentfido's delta 88, when the powertrain update came out, it was unscathed due to it having it's own powertrain system (and lua?)
Hence why all of Darren9's creations still work... for the most part.

The Oldsfullsize broke with the unexpected LUA update though. That's the price to pay for this, when you write your own LUA functions they will break when other LUA stuff it depends on changes. I have no idea how Darren9's stuff didn't get broken then when it has some stuff heavily relying on LUA like the machine guns or flying stuff.

Because it's a forum mod, real vehicles aren't allowed on the repository for obvious reasons.
the download will probably be in the first post.

As I said before, definitely not "any time soon", might even take a year still, a proper fire truck is definitely extremely hard to make and that's why almost nobody ever made one and the others that were made are definitely not perfect.

Just cant wait for the new update to come out but obviously MRcrash has more things to do than this.

and I suggest a Garbage truck but I think I've suggested enough so yeah this is the last one for me.

Just gonna let you know before someone else does, it's generally not taken well when you ask a mod creator to make something else. That and asking for release dates are two big no-no's on the forums unless they say they're open to people asking. Having said that, welcome to the forums!

So i spent like 4 days modifying this truck, And boy did i learn a lot about JBeam, Nodes and especially Blender. So fun though. I started with making the outrigger pads bigger in diameter, then made them push out more. Also made the supports extend further for more stability. Another thing I did is I added a slot for a crane in the rear of the truck. Mainly for the outrigger support but you can also have the boom attachment and it functions 100 percent. The cranes work in sync so really only side lifts are good with both cranes. But that's why I added the second set of outriggers. The crane is now twice as strong if you use both, also have the option to remove either boom attachment and support legs. All the files are nice and neat just how you have them just with the mods. Would i be able to upload this here? i feel like a lot of people would enjoy this modification, Or could I send it to you, and see what you think? Maybe post it as an update, yourself? By far one of my favorite mods I just discovered 4 days ago. Any feedback would be sweet thanks. figured I'd add some pics. super fun project! Even tho. (NOT MY MOD)

I just got this mod, how do you pick things up with the crane?? I know you can couple nodes but that seems like a hassle and I don't know how to uncouple the nodes afterwards. Would love it if you could cable down with the crane too but I think the hook is just static

Very cool, feel free to upload your files here for me and others to take a look. But it's not exactly realistic, so I'm not planning to include it in the mod.
Already posted this, but crane fitted in the back will come together with some new longer frames and upfits e.g. flatbed.

And my plan for rear outriggers is something like this:

You can uncouple nodes by holding ctrl and middle-clicking on them.
