I've tried the mod and don't think it's great in any side. Dinamic range is very strange, colours washed out (yes, I read the hints). If not disable hardware acceleration BEFORE running the mod there almost impossible use the UI, because of MASSIVE LAGS (tens seconds to UI reacts). The screens original (at left) and modded visuals.
That's why I posted the pictures and the video! You can always tweak the preset to your liking anyway.
didint work, I do have a 64-bit computer and the reshade didnt pop up so something is with the preset, nothing is checked in the effects menu
Make sure you did not have a previous installation of reshade. If you did, delete all the related files. After that, install all the files you downloaded and make sure to direct reshade to the preset: cessni's 20.ini at the top of the effects menu. If that does not work just enable the effects I list at the beginning of the main post, but you will have to tweak them yourself.
Read the message on top. You need write permissions. Download this tool and right click the BeamNG.drive folder and select Take Ownership. https://winaero.com/download.php?view.16 Then reinstall. If you have files in C:\Users\*yourusername*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore it means that those folders did not have write access at the time of writing and the files went there instead. I assume the game's folder is there too.
I have a problem after installing this big mod. Some of Shaders in reshade are throwing errors and it don't even load the .ini file. I don't know what is the problem.
Hey Cessni! Could you check out my mod? It's called ProjectBeam and It's motive is to be an overhaul without the need for reshade (Because my computer hates it-GTX 1050+i7-7700). so i installed it but my game now looks like this, its way too blurry. Oh i managed to fix it by removing the dof from the file
Is this still functional? I want to install this but installing 3 party software and having so many settings and configs and all that is kind of turning me off to be honest. The last update was also almost a year ago, so there must be something you could do to imrpove the performance.
Does this work for really weak computers?, With lowest setings I'm lucky to get 25-30fps, how big of a dent will this mod make?
