Here's something i got bored and made. not releasing it rn. (not that i think anyone else would have a use for it, if they did someone else would've probably made it) its a lower drop hitch. cant haul anything with big lifted trucks with the current drop hitch. I still have to make actual textures for it and make the hitch ball.
Thanks, as you can see and it wasn't too time consuming, i had fun making it. And sorry first time using fusions playback feature or whatever its called.
Friend: "Make it so when you click a key, it freaking jumps" Me: "Ok" Universal jump system for car that uses explosions (jbeam-wise thrusters attached to suspension springs) to launch a car into the air (mid-air jump is possible). 99% scratch made LUA, I only used sounds and the explosion effect from the cannon. It has adjustable cooldown, if you set it to 0 you can spam the key and fly as shown in the video. There is no cooldown display though, idk how to make one that isn't ridiculously laggy to the point where it slows down the entire UI to like 10 frames per minute, if someone knows then please explain. The system is universal, all you need to have is inputmaps and a Jbeam file with the data about thrusters, suspension spring names and the cooldown variable. While I can't make a mod that adds it to any car like the JATO mod, I can manually easily add it to whatever car I want after checking its suspension Jbeam. I spent the whole day on it and I'm satisfied with the result.
Got the ball and step attachment finished for the hitch and plan to make a shackle attachment as well
Im constantly trying to evolve my gfx mod and now Ive done some changes to the tonemapping code to make it dynamic i.e. change strength and white balance using average luminance of the screen. Its not working as intended yet but im really happy with how this looks. Ive gone for a GT Sports look but with more saturation in darker images, than what i think GT Sports have. Tell me what you think, in this thread , looking at these somewhat low quality short vids
Sure, adjustable particles are doable and setting the size to 0 should disable them, and strength tuning could be done but separately for the front and rear suspension so it doesn't always flip, too high would just break off the wheels and this is about as high as it can go for now, until I slap the car strength setting into this too EDIT: I have added these options, as well as a 3D model (from the Bluebuck hydraulics) to the jump system, also it adds weight to the car (1 extra node like in the Bluebuck)
First time ever doing textures myself. I'm going to make the colors glossy and not so matte whenever I get a chance. The main drop hitch part is textured as well as the hitch attachments (the ball and step). but for now here's the what I got done. not the best pictures either but I cant do much about that, Thanks for lookin
