Will we see a sporty, debadged front grille like this?

C pillar looks odd, shape looks a little off or something, it almost looks concave. There is also fuckery going on with the rear fender flare/arch but I imagine thats already being dealt with, be interested to see wireframe to see how you made it.

    1. This is only a shading error so dont worry about that

    2. Because i reshaped the rear fender a little i didnt apply edgesplit there so thats why it looks weird

    3. There you go:

I'd like to make a suggestion regarding the rear taillights' shape. Maybe they could be a little more oblong, like this quick and dirty GIMP drawing I did?
    civic.png
(They're a little too big in this drawing, but the general shape I had in mind is still there.)
I thought it would be nice if the taillights took cues from other late '90s subcompacts, namely the Honda Civic EG and the '99 Geo Metro.

I derived the overall shape of the taillights from the Metro, but I flattened their curve near the license plate holder to make it look a tad more aggressive, taking inspiration from the EG in that regard. Towards the rear wheel arch I decided to add a little more angularity by following the already modeled taillight's lines.

I definitely don't want to sound demanding or ungrateful, and I hope I'm not coming off that way. I'm super excited for everything you guys have been teasing for the past few months, and this is nothing more than my two cents design-wise. Do whatever you want, it's not my mod.

Thats why critique is important, it isn't finished so its easier to correct things or redo things.
I feel I was in no way not calm or passive aggressive in nature but that is your prerogative to feel like that.

Wouldn't have said anything if I wasn't looking for the mod to be good but I will remain silent from now on, good luck with completing the model.

No, you're fine. I can totally understand wanting to be faithful to the original design.

Yeah, the new Civic is going to be an EK and literally only an EK (EDIT: for now)
The EG civic from years ago didn’t get shit for it so we are hoping you guys don’t give it to us for doing it now.
We may make changes later once the body is done but please don’t give nacho any sort of pushback. Criticism is fine but pushback because it’s not your way is very cringe and not epic. Just putting that out there for the future.
Remember we dedicate time and lots of it to bring you free content, kinda keep that in mind always when you post to people’s mod threads. Most of you know that already but it doesn’t hurt to reiterate it.
