I'm not the owner of this thread, but I would like to link you to the config creation page: https://wiki.beamng.com/Making_A_Custom_Configuration It's old, but still the same system. Works for automation and blender-based cars.
i hope you all had a merry christmas and a happy new year! And i need to know something (because im dumb) how to i make a spoiler tab for my mod? i want to make the page smaller so i can add more. ive tried to find out but failed! help
OK THIS IS A EMERGENCY! So my 2021 SOR Sicilino car pack is broken! i need your help on how to fix it ASAP so i can send a bug fix! What is happening with my 1.5 version: instead of having all 4 cars in 1 file (like in the instructions) its 1 car! FROM 1.4!!! i need help quickly please! its does work but only if you manually download it from the web then manually add it to the mod folder.
Ok, I will take a look, it's probably a mistake in the folder structure --- Post updated --- Well, it work just fine for me. The folder strucutre is correct, and I have access to the 4 versions of your cars when subscribing to it. I dont need to manually install it to make it work. So, this is probably a issue on your side. Maybe you have two copy of your mod, one in the version 1.5, and one you have forgoten in the version 1.4. The 2 version will conflict, and has a result, you will only see the old version in game. Try to see if you have a second version, and, if yes, remove it! But don't worry, your mod is not broken, it work just fine
Ok thank goodness, i think i might have had some of the older versions and i forgot about them, thanks
Hi, how do the Car Packs Work? I assumed they would make it so that if you click on the car in the Vehicle Selector, you would be able to see them listed. I can't seem to find them anywhere. If you could please help to clarify this, just to clear things up, that would be helpful. Thanks!
Hi If the folder structure is correct, you should see all the cars separately in the vehicle selector, like if they was different mod. Of it doesn't work, you can send me your pack here, and I will have a look
Oh, ok, thanks. I still had the other cars there, but I'm guessing it worked. Thanks. --- Post updated --- I was also wondering if you had any idea how I could fix this: Thanks.
I was also wondering if you had any idea how I could fix this: Ok, thanks. Is there any way of fixing this in one of the files?
Sadly, no :/ You need to re-export your car. If you have edited one of the JBEAM file, you will not be forced to redo the modifications. Copy your modified JBEAM in a back up folder, export the new car, extract it, then replace the stock JBEAM file with the modified one. It should work just fine
