Experimental KissMP - new multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive

idk why but im pissed af rn. everytime i go an any map and change my car like everybody does it crashes my game and says "connection lost"

 

Are there any plans for a server option that turns off the constant auto updating of cars to other players? It causes constant lag spikes and lets people see my hot tunes, makes the game unplayable...

 

after following the install procedure i found an issue getting it to start beam.ngexe and bridge kissMP. so for anyone that moved the location file of the beam.ng.exe file unzip archive for kissMP as follows::
find the drive that has the beam.ng.exe installed on it for example.
ThisPC/volumeC/steam/steamlibrary/steamapps/common/beamng.drive/content/
if you have a mod folder already you can unzip KissMP there.
after doing so i had to move the winrar archive to the game folder outside of its content folder.
That left my config file wndows and linux folder under Beamng.drive/content/mod folder.
after you have done this start bridge.exe and drag kissMP zip archive to the game exe and open with beamng.
IDK if this is right but it worked if a tester or a creator needs anymore info or would like to give me a better idea of how to fix that problem more than welcome too thanks in advance and hope this helps!!

 

If I were to want to uninstall it, how would I do so? Or is freeroam still available with it installed?

 

Free roam is still avalible

 

i decided to uninstall the mod so i did, removed it from recycle bin, etc, and chat UI and stuff is still on main menu. any help?

 

In what manner did you uninstall it?

 

To uninstall you should just remove Kissmp.zip from Mods folder.

 

kissmultiplayer.zip*

 

i had both in the mods folder, so I went there, right clicked and deleted them, and then I went to the recycle bin and deleted them forever.

I went to the repository and deleted the remaining one there, it's gone!

 

Can i open private server?

 

Yes, there's a setting in the server options that disables the server's appearance in the server list, which means that it'll only be accessible through 'Direct connect'.
