Deactivate all repository mods, reload the game, activate them all and it should be fixed, it works for me.
I had over 150 mods.. yea I didn't want to go through all of them either. Just deleted all and cleared cache.. that was 10 gb worth of mods. Gonna start over with freshly updated mods.
The time someone joins the forum of a game doesn't mean they have the game since that day. He could've joined yesterday and played the game since it release. You don't know that, so please shut up just don't.
Yeah, DaddelZeit, you are right. I have played the game since 2015 (well, not from the relealse, but for long) and had no need in joining the forum. I had plenty of different bugs, glitches and so on, but I was always able to cope them by myself or to find an answer on the Internet. Only two of them have stayed unsolved: twisted D-Series and non emerging H-Series RV (mod) (absolutely no information). Although the second one (motorhome) doesn't bother me too much, I am going to create a new thread to get some information and make the camper work properly. And you, arrogant fella with a drunk guy dressed as Santa at the profile pic, are on the website for less than a month (not for ages!), so pipe down and read the second paragrapgh of posting guideline (yeah, about politeness). It seems that you count yourself very intelligent (mistakenly, of course) and registrated on the site to pick on the others only. First read the whole conversation and find out that I have already been warned by another user (very civilly, by the way apart from you). And then I realised my mistake. Moreover I posted the same message (as the very first one, as I doubted about the appropriate forum) in the general discussion more than 30 hours ago, but there is still only one reply there. And finally how do you dare to judge my game knowlage? Have you tested me, intolerant guy?
heyo! wrong area... do it in problems or something also trying running it on safe mode... if not working reinstall the game
Sol90, thank you for the information, although I have no need in it anymore. I deleted all of the mods and cleared cache this morning and the problem disappeared. Now I gradually subscribe again for all the mods I used to have. I check the condition of D-Sereies after each 20 new mods. When the bug comes back I will uninstall the last 20 mods, clear cache and then check them one by one. So I will be able to find the particular glitched mod. If I manage to detect it, I will let you know. Thank you all, guys, again!
Why delete your downloaded mods for? just cut them away from the mods folder back to your downloads folder. I have never used the subscribe feature, I download all mods directly from this website then copy the selected mods I feel like using to the game mods folder then only activate the mods I want to use for the gaming session and then deactivate the selected mods I no longer feel like using, I never delete mods.. Also try using the Tilde Key ~ Just above the TAB key to open the console to read the console to find what mods are causing problems, Also open some of the text files as they might give an idea to what mod/s may be broken. or outdated, Not all outdated mods stop working, Try changing the parts config using Ctrl W to try fixing broken mods before removing them, Best to keep all downloaded mods as sometimes they start working again the next time BeamNG gets upgraded to the newer version.. Like what happened with the BeamNG Variety Mod that was thought to be broken for ever but ended up working again a few BeamNG Client versions later.
Well, I have decided to make a full reinstall. I had mods from both the repository and the website.(about 40 and 60% relatively). I deleted all mods from the repository using the ingame red button (delete all repo. Mods from the mods folder stay intact). Then I cleared cache and found out that mods from the mf work properly and don't cause the glitch. Now I download the files (as the ones which I had in the repository) from the website to the mf. After I load 20 new files I make a verification. (To find the glitched mod). I prefer not to use the deactivation for this precious purpose, as I don't know for sure if there leave any consequences caused by a particular mod in the past (when it was activated). In my opinion total removal is a more reliable way (Anyway it is not a problem to download 20 files again). Maybe my path is not the shortest one, but it seems to me to be the most robust. As for the Tilde key I have played the game for 5 years, I still have no idea how does it work. I checked some of the text files and found nothing suspicious there. I'm not such a dummy))) I know about the vehicle configurator, of course. Otherwise what have I needed so many mods for?))) The things only got worse after replacement of body (to restyle or 70s). Both of them have no texture lights and black (always black, in spite of the skin or body color) fenders turned inside out (I've attached two photos of restyled D-Seriesand on the first page). Variety mod! I missed it so much till it started to work again. One of my favourites! Also, by the way, do you also have lacking tires on some of the vehicles after the revival of this mod? (Photo below) IIRC this problem is caused by not upgraded wheels. TAL for the information anyway.
I think this mod was created to address the missing tyres from newly spawned vehicles after the 0.20 version was released. Check it out. https://beamng.com/resources/legacy-tires-pack.13989/ But even without using that mod you just simply click Ctrl W and add the tyres or even change the wheels to something else, I mostly always change the mod vehicles wheels out for the IYB Custom Offroad Tires mod anyways.. Also do you know any mod which replaces Stock Long Block with Ultra Heavy Duty Long Block (to avoid overtorque damage) to avoid the need to open vehicle customization ever time? Also there is a way to chose another car variation and then to add the required paint design and additional modification. But... Anyway it's far better to load a vehicle ready to use. A very nice pack of tires. Thank you again, athough I've already had it subscibed. What does the interlineation in the end of your message mean? I hope that I misunderstood it.
I had the same issue, For me, it was a trailer mod pack. that caused it, It was weird but it fixed it. If it's not a mod I don't know what to tell you.
