How long has this been in the files of WCUSA?
    burnsidesign.png

There were a few other signs (one involving the gas pipelines you see around the map and one for the Tennis court, So maybe the devs are working on adding more signage to WCUSA but ran out of time?

they have stated most cars would get revamps of the would not be the same level as the d series, but come on. the bolide is 7 years old, ive seen people try to join the forum younger than that car.

Surely they have been working on it there have been signs of it being a possibility.

I wonder if there is possibility of a late 80's facelift?

Ok for fun I should list all of the vehicles I think need a remaster to some degree (new textures Mesh work, Etc), you guys quote this post with your suggestions. I'm excluding vehicles which have already had a major remaster (H Series and Grand Marshall) as the devs are most likely still working on them.
    1. Bruckell Moonhawk
    2. Bruckell Le Gran (I think the devs are working on it)
    3. Ibishu Covet
    4. Ibishu Pessima (both gens)
    5. Ibishu Miramar
    6. Ibishu 200BX
    7. Ibishu Pigeon
    8. Gavril T Series
    9. Hirochi Sunburst

Feel free to mention any others.

I remember that i wrote a novels worth of things for the Moonhawk, and i remember some else chipping in with some velour seats, i would quote it but its like 200 pages back i really dont want to look through all that just for a car that no one actually likes for what it is: A faux sporty luxo-barge midsize slug

gogo me gadget chart i threw together about a year ago and have been continuously modifying:
I wouldn't be surprised if every vehicle since the ETKs get at least some new content in one batch.
considering they've stared on the covet, I wouldn't be surprised if 1.5/1.8/2.0 ibishu mechanicals are next on the list.
the legran is known to be getting the wagon and an AWD/4WD version, which will likely coincide with common wendover parts,
the bolide was seen with those tweaks in the 0.20 industrial video,
the van is the last of the gavrils waiting on its major content update,
as for smaller things, the GM is still waiting on redone mechanical models/textures,
and the burnside is due to get the new classic V8 engine model at some point (again, they might hold this off until some remaster/content work is done)
cars like the moonhawk, and pigeon still need thorough reworks, though I don't see these happening very soon.

Same thing with the ETK K-Series, it even has lettering for the 12 and 8 cylinder models. I don't think a V12 would work, since the ETK 800 and the ETK K-Series are supposed to have 50/50 weight distribution, but a V8 will work.
    --- Post updated ---
I think the Pigeon could use a J-Beam and/or structural update, as the Pigeon does not have fenders, just a weird front end that won't fall apart.
Edit: The Wentward could use more engines, like a giant 4 cyl diesel (totally not series 50), or a smaller inline 6, or even a 2 stroke V6/V8.

It's normal for cheap cars to have no fenders. Idk why but it's true.

Text wall ahead about future maps:
NOTE: the following is idle speculation with nothing but circumstantial evidence at best so take my words with a grain of salt. I also have zero experience working in the software dev industry.

Now that we have JRI remastered, what could we expect from the maps team? We are likely to get some more content for JRI as found below:
Other than that I don't know if there is much left in the game map wise that is old (maybe Gridmap remaster? but I struggle to see much point in that). The rest of the game is clearly not close to being done as a lot of the older vehicle content still needs to be brought up to current standards and the long awaited career more is still very much in the works. We have no news on the ui update so it is pretty safe to assume that there is still work that needs to be done on that.

What I think is really needed for Beta release is:
    • The ui remaster
    • At the very least the moonhawk, pigeon and bolide content
    • A semi-working career mode

All of that will at the very least take 1 to 2 years considering how fast the team worked in the past regarding vehicles at least.
That leaves the levels team with a lot of time. I doubt that they would just be idly standing around in that time. The only maps that have not changed at all for a long time are: cliff, ETK driver experience center, gridmap, showroom, grid small pure, and template_map.
Gridmap, grid small pure, template and showroom likely won't be in the final game (maybe gridmap as an easter egg or minigame of some kind) so it's hard to justify more work being done on them.
That leaves cliff and ETK driver experience center. Cliff honestly is fine as is, it might not even have any place in the final game as most maps have some sort of cliff to throw off cars from so it is pretty redundant as far as the final game is concerned.

ETK diver experience center is an interesting one. It can be kept as is since it was made more recently than the other remastered maps and does not look that old. It would make sense if it was one of the first maps in career mode that makes you get your driving license there and teaches you the basics of the game (kind of like the Driver's Training campaign). Maybe they will add stuff like a gas station and repair shops and other career mode stuff and tutorialise the player about all the game features. That would require a map expansion where they could add a small German village around the map. The map could also be used when the player buys a new ETK and chooses the "Experience package" or something where they go to the factory and pick up their brand new car like you can do in real life. A smarter game designer could think of more stuff to do with the map with potentially less work required, however my main point is that the map has some potential for both freeroam fun and for career mode in future.

If ETK driver experience is left as is then that would leave the map team to potentially work on a brand new map. Asia, Antarctica, Africa and South America have not been featured in the game at all. We already have maps with a large city (WCUSA and maybe Italy with Norte), we have more jungle and desolated desert areas (JRI and Utah). We have small town America with ECUSA. We have other more focused maps like derby arenas and industrial site and race tracks like Hirochi raceway and the Automation test track. Without knowing what they are going for in career mode and how they will tackle moving from map to map I can't really say what the game really NEEDS as we already have a lot of diversity in the current maps.

TLDR: going off what we know I'd say that an ETK driver experience center remaster is most likely in the future (I'd say after they add the JRI content so maybe in at least a year's time).
If ETK driver experience center is left as is then we will likely get one more new map before the beta release.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk and thanks for reading the whole thing :)

If there's two things the pigeon should have, it's a Reliant Robin-style passenger variant and some sort of police skin.

It could use some heavy duty bumpers and maybe some exoskeleton-like guards as pictured on this NYPD thing. The Pigeon is RHD tho, so maybe a LHD option would be necessary?

inb4 Pigeon becomes somewhat competent with the lower trim Moonhawks

But seriously I don't think a 4-speed manual would be too far from the realm of possibility. Didn't the Robin have one? I mean I know the Pigeon is slightly more utilitarian purposed but if anything I'd count that as a reason to have a 4-speed manual.

I like to imagine it's RHD because a LHD conversion would have costed too much and Ibishu was just mass-exporting them to the US with almost zero changes because that's cheaper

It could be sold in the U.S. for police to use or maybe even as postal vehicles to make use of the RHD.
