    Here's a quick suggestion I just thought up

    Some vehicles like the D-Series have over 60 vehicle options and it can get pretty confusing.

    What if the vehicles were organized by generation as such:

    [Inside vehicle selector] Gavril D-Series --> 1st Gen (1986-1991), 2nd Gen (1992-1997), 3rd Gen (1998-2003), ---> Then the vehicles

    Also, the Ibishu Pessima has 2 different vehicles for the 2 different generations. It could instead be as such...

    Ibishu Pessima --> 1st Gen (1988-1991), 3rd Gen (1996-2000) --> Then the vehicles

    I think a better idea would be vehicle sub-categories, they would work as folders where you can put whatever you want. It also wouldn't break compatibility with old mods because they would be optional. A car like the Burnside or the Miramar doesn't need any, but the D-Series could be separated into D10, D15,... and Custom. The Grand Marshal could be separated between Civilian and Police, the SBR between SBR4 and eSBR, the FCV between Vivace and Tograc, the Bluebuck between body styles, you get what I mean. Also mods could create separate folders which would make the selector much more organized. And ability to add folders for custom configs would be nice too.

    I think we have had several threads brainstorming how a good car selector should be.
    While i think you are on the right path, i think it should be like
    Car > Brand > Model > Model Year > Body Style > Trims
    2WD and 4WD should be something that you check in a box, rather than a trim all by itself.

    That would break every single mod though.

    The thing is that mods can be fixed. However i do understand that it would be a mess like the last time they changed something important and broke almost every mod.

    That would not break "almost" every mod but LITERALLY EVERY MOD, including all the old legendary ones that are not worked on but still work, possibly all config packs and generally everything that has something to do with vehicles

    I think having the main entry in the menu like it is now would be fine, if upon clicking it you would be brought to a sub-menu which would display 3 entries with all the model years (87-93, 97-03 etc.) & if you were to click on one of them it would show configs for that specific model year

    I agree with both of you!. Srockzz, a more detailed selection system like you described would be cool too. You could check what options you want (example: v6 or v8, 2wd or 4wd). Even though Agent_Y, you had a good point that that would defiantly mess up a lot of mods, so that might not be a viable option. Also, Agent_Y I like your idea. I think it would be cool if the vehicle selector worked like a PC desktop where you could drag and drop vehicles into different spots or even folders. Maybe there could be a reset button to reset everything back or original too.
