So after all this time set and wasted by us that have been begging for more controller support...

why cant a Input GUI menu be added to the option menu in the game so we can just Customize controls? a simplish GUI addition would stop complaining and whining on these forums about controller issues, it would make a lot of people happy too

Fancy GUI stuff isn't really that high a priority since it's alpha, so yeah.

They want to focus on the more important parts, like being able to drive without looking drunk, and the cars and such.

    EDIT Ninja'd by tdev lol...

not talking about anything fancy just a bunch of buttons that say Acceleration,Brakes,Steer left, Steer Right, ETC. then a key mapping right next to it click the accel. button press right trigger now right trigger is gas.....

could be grey and black for all i care i just wanna be able to use my controller as a controller..... and not have to be a programmer to figure out how to get a input map to work...

There are guides on input mapping (which is not programming...)
There is a megathread for inputmaps.
There are tons of threads asking for configurable controls, this is the 2nd one to be posted today actually.

As it is physically possible to change your controls it is not a high priority to add a GUI config tool when there are more pressing matters such as coltri thickness.
