Sorry if this has been asked, but I'm trying to couple two trucks with the front tow hitch. I love that I can finally have double the power from trucks. However the steering is also copied which makes the whole combination go like a crab. Is there anything I can do about that? Tried searching but the search feature on this forum is not that great.
To follow up on this, I fixed it. For anyone else having a similar problem I went though the mod folder and removed basically everything after I a made sure I was unsubscribed from the mod. Once that was done, I reinstalled it and it somehow worked again. Unsure what happened, but Im pretty sure it was a problem on my end. Possibly a conflict with another mod or something.
small idea very minor thread contribution how about a short ish 6 axle frame with twin steer? something akin to this obv the b series is not a cabover and it would look kind of odd but maneuverability would be amazing and the extra axle would act sort of like a counterweight so the smaller truck could haul longer loads
ok I don't know if anyone else has this issue it only happens on the b65 but I only have the front transfer case so I only have front wheel drive no rear wheel drive there is no selection for the rear transfer case unlike the other trucks. all the trucks including b65s, b75, b75l, b75lts, b85, and b85ts. those all work but b65 doesn't
he said a wood carrier and that actually sounds like a good idea like the logger truck from this mod: https://www.beamng.com/resources/gavril-t-series-expansion-pack.636/ --- Post updated --- I think
Don't worry the firetruck would be soo much better than it is now and nah I don't want to make dependencies of other mods for my mods. Don't worry it's a work in progress thing you can't do nothing other then going in the mod file and changing stuff. yeah it is and probably yeah. Yeah I'm working on making some new frame again close to that. Yeah I don't actually know why it does that, I have to fix it. --- Post updated ---
Lots of new stuff coming this update I got something like 7 new engines comming, some detroit's, cummins and some new CAT
add a Detroit version: no wheels, no lights, no license plates, no steering wheel, parts from the engine missing
hey you know what would be really cool is doing something like the t-series camper addon with a drift but have a 5th wheel at the end so you can pull a trailer behind it
I think we need bigger trailers for this with bigger loads. There is not one mod that I know of with a trailer that would be appropriate with a 5 axle semi truck. Another idea would be have camera mirrors inside the truck, that would fix both the problem with the mirrors looking at the back of the trailer (i know its not a problem caused by this mod but a lot of people have it) and fix the terrible visibility problems. Also, would a tip warning be possible? to warn you when the trailer is tipping?
This truck gets more and more amazing... wow I'd really love to see a compact high mobility version derived from the 10x10. It would be as follows: Chop the frame right behind the cab, making it a 4x4. Bolt a fuel tank behind the cab. Put receivers front and rear, to push and pull loads. Make the 2nd axle steer opposite to the 1st axle, to reduce steering radius. Basically it would become an engine on frame with a cab.
what would be really cool is the t-series camper addon with a drift but have a 5th wheel at the back so you can pull a trailer behind it and maybe a super radiator so it doesnt over heat
Yeah I know that the guys that make the t-series more mod is making a new heavy duty flatbed.. But I just modified the boogies so you can have 4 axle (for the flatbed and the dryvan) and I am making some heavy load like an excavator. Also yeah I know the visibility is terrible, I will make a "electric" mirror. For the tipping thing that's just too complicated I don't know how I could do that. I don't think I'm doing that XD Got some pics? I can't seem to visualize what you mean. --- Post updated --- Don't think I'll do that but I'll be making a old rusty version tho
Maybe you could add a facelift version, or like a new retro version. I don't think it would be hard. change the lights and grill. lol
