Its not as good as the 580. it is cheaper by about half the price but by the specs im looking at my 580 is still better in every way besides the price.
Maybe it could on very low settings. --- Post updated --- if you get the 2gb you can get some good fps on low settings but if you go for the 550 get the 4gb for smoother gameplay
it says it can get 110 fps on low settings at 1080p and about 80 fps on medium setting at 1080p --- Post updated --- in that case get the 550 2gb or even the 4gb version. and of those would be sooo much better than the old 450 --- Post updated --- btw what core are you running?
you might need to replace that too soon lol. i recommend a AMD core. like a 4-5 gen would be a great upgrade --- Post updated --- and they're not to pricy
wait wait wait, what is your whole pc? cpu motherboard gpu and all? Im running a AMD Ryzen 1600x, 8gb of ram, 3.5 terabytes of memory (dont ask why), a AMD Radeon 580 4gb, and a ASRock A320M-HDV Micro ATX motherboard.
PC: HP 3500 PRO GPU: GTS 450 CPU: I3 3200 RAM: 4GB MOTHERBOARD: Not sure. I think it's a Foxcon. HARD DRIVE: 500GB WD
ok so it is a bit older but it looks like it can run some things well, if you where to upgrade anything i would recommend at least the cpu and/or ram
It would help speed things up a bit but not much, that and it is silent because it doesn't have a disc inside it spinning.
I don't know if I have ever heard my hard drive apart from the power supply fan, my computer is mostly silent.
