This mod is still very new, yes there are improvements to be made in the future, but only one person is making this mod, so give him a break yeah? theres a difference of giving feedback and being damn right rude. improvements are being made pretty much everyday, as i am a beta tester of some sort. now go back to fucking beammp. We don't want you ❤
and that was a old video i made, before any hot fixes, i'll be sure to make a new video when i have time lol
In all fairness, you can get a 6 core i5, like mine, but that's the highest - he cannot have found a 7+ core, as they don't exist
We're glad to publish a new version of KissMP. Behold: KissMP 0.2! Keep in mind that this is an early release. And things are expected to go wrong  `Changelog` > Brand-new vehicle position synchronization. It's a lot more stable, works better on low-end systems, and freaks out less > Synchronize vehicle coupling > UI is hidden in single-player now > Fix sendLua on vehicles > Fix hook naming > Add player secrets. They're extremely useful for admin systems, scoreboards, etc > Expose connection ip address to server lua > Optimized node culling > Display warning message if mod installation is incorrect > Fix sync problems with heavy time desync > Add ability to encode and decode json on server side > Fix luarocks modules not being able to load on server side > Improve time sync between clients and server > Add version control on server/master *WARNING FOR SERVER OWNERS* **With this update, it's recommended to remove your server config and let the server generate a new one. This is needed to generate a new server identifier, which is now used to keep client secrets secure.** Download: https://github.com/TheHellBox/KISS-multiplayer/releases/tag/0.2
I was telling this to the correct person. He was the one who was expanding this drama. Got message on this thread saying that mod is crap? Don't reply to it. That's persons opinion, you can't change it by saying that he's wrong and you need proofs. I said a dozen of times that I don't want to see nonsense drama here, and for some reason our community is the one who's expanding it further
Yes. See example: https://github.com/TheHellBox/KISS-multiplayer/wiki/Advanced-examples-for-server-lua
It's fine for me. Have you tried multiple servers to see if it's just one? Do you have the newest version of Kissmp?
Hello again. I have found a bug - although I am using 0.2, the UI is not hidden in single player Beamng, despite this being one of the new features. I have already disabled the mod, and I have had to remove it from the Mods folder entirely. I think that the problem is that it does not go into the repo or unzipped mod folders.
Im really loving the mp with this mod. Thank you for the updates. its really nice. Recently ive started messing with reshade. and i was wondering if i could bring this up since its been doing really nice visuals for beamng for me and ive really enjoyed using it. But when the kissmp mod is installed. (v0.12. As of v0.20 it gets disabled in single player and i have my reshade working again) it seems to take over the reshade stuff. im not really sure whats happening, if kissmp's ui is an added layer above beamng itself or theres more complex stuff going on behind it. I did notice i can take out kissmp's ui out of the window of beamng. a weird but nice addition. But im wondering if there is something that could be done to fix reshade with kissmp. the stuff that software does to beamng suddenly gets swapped into the kissmp ui lol. idk if its gonna be noticeable for everyone, but its quite visible that whatever filter reshade adds is taken in another window and doesnt work in beamng's window anymore. if there could be an option to close the kissmp ui when its not in use or maybe an embedded kissmp chat ui made with the beamng ui system to be able to chat even without the kiss mp server ui. imgui is a really neat software. im not really deep in programing and know basically nothing about how its made. but its odd that reshade gets stuck in the imgui instead of beamng. anyways. this mod is really amazing in itself already and im really grateful to see an open source MP mod for beamng. your work is quite amazing and thanks for this great addition.
When my friend starts up BeamNG with the bridge on and everything, the UI doesnt pop up. How can this be? We even checked in windowed mode and it didnt pop up. How can we make it show?
Do you have the KISSMultiplayer.zip in your mods folder? --- Post updated --- This isn't a "Fix this bug right now!" kind of problem but I have a bug to report: Whenever I shoot someone with the old cannon, I can see damage but the cars keep on driving as if they had never been shot. It's odd since someone was shooting cannon balls at me with the old cannon on the east coast and I got damage but whenever I shoot someone else, the just keep on driving on. I literally shot the whole back of someone's Gavril Roamer off and they just kept on driving on.
They probably had simplified collision physics turned on, so the vehicles don't interact with each other. --- Post updated --- The cars don't interact with each other on their side but on yours they do.
