Before anyone says BeamNG will never come to consoles soon just hear me out. This one is different. The new Atari console is fully customizable so you can add in new internals to it such as ram, cpu and gpu. Also this console has a dedicated pc mode to run any windows application. My question is can this be the first ever console that will be able to run BeamNG. Please be nice about this. It is a good question.
I'm not all that familiar with it, but from my understanding it's kinda a mediocre PC in a console packaging. The fact that it can run windows means it can run BeamNG, but probably not well. 8gb ram standard and a CPU/GPU that seems "fine". BeamNG is a resource instensive title, I don't think it'll be a particularly amazing gameplay experience but it should at least technically run the game.
I know what you are saying but you can upgrade the parts to the console itself. You can make it a good pc if you want. Just have to swap out parts to it
I've seen sources for user upgradeable RAM, not the CPU/GPU. Still, the specs I was able to pull up puts this console far ahead of the Asus Q550LF laptop that I played beam on for many years. I wouldn't expect high settings + a lot of traffic, but out of the box this thing might be able to get medium settings with a couple AI cars on the official maps.
